How odd these human holidays.


I am ashamed to admit that I am intrigued, however. I did do some research in the library. it turns out that humans once celebrated the death of their loved ones and those they had known on this night. They lit candles for their souls and told stories to the spirits.

Then the celebration became bastardized by some people known as Christians. They damned their predecessors of the holiday and turned the holiday into an evil night, one on which demons and beings known as witches and ghosts would roam the night, haunting and possessing those whom they encountered.

After that characterization, the night became one of costumes and candy for little children.

I must say, I am pleased with this.... turn of events. In the past hour, I have seen a miniature Godzilla, several demons, more vampires than usual, kittens, a lion, a black alien creature, a religious raptor and what LOOKED like a cybernetic fox with nine tails, but you can never be sure. OH! And Sponge Man. Musn't forget that winner.

It's times like these I wish I had a camera! But I suppose I'll settle for some candy. Those charming skeletons are doing an excellent job of circulating around the castle with goodies.

Oh, and for the geniuses who have yet to figure it out? This madness isn't the food's doing. Have you not noticed that the only residents acting strangely are those who were dressed up in the first place? Tch. Always blaming the food. [sounds of something being unwrapped]

I wonder if this "Rock star" version of Demyx has more enjoyable music than regular Demyx. I am intrigued.
