youngsunslinger.livejournal.com[Here's Aaron trying to catch more Pokemon, but let's skip onto the battle since he hasn't really shown his skillz lol. We meet him face to face with a Tropius!]
"Tropius: The Fruit Pokemon. It flies by flapping its broad leaves. The bunch of fruit that grows around its neck is deliciously sweet. In the spring, it scatters pollen from its neck."
Ah hah! Now's a good chance to get you to-- Hey!
Sunk! [The little Sunkern turns away, unimpressed] Kern!
Hey! Would you stop being so stubborn all the time? It took me a while to actually find this Pokemon, you know. 'Sides, don't you remember that strategy we came up with? We can use it on this big guy. ... .... Orrr, it might be too strong for you...
... Kern! [it holds it ground, ready to try out that strategy]
Hehe, great! Now, use Leechseed! [the Sunkern sends out spores of seeds onto the foe. Then, feeling threatened, the Tropius begins stampeding towards the tiny seed] Rrrreaaaahhh!
Alight then, Grasswhistle! [Sunkern sends a piercing yet melodic whistle, working effectively on the Tropius as it collapses to the ground in sleep]
Yes! That was just like how we planned! Pokeball, go-- [suddenly, Sunkern uses Razor leaf on the defenseless Tropius, though not doing much damage]
Kern!! Sunk~errrrn~! [Aaron seems to get too excited for his pokemon to misread him a lot] No, Sunkern, we don't attack it when it's down like that. ...Kern? Because that's not fair for it! Well, yeah, it's sleeping, but we can't attack it while it's just too vulnerable like that. And it might wake up, too. Kerrrn...
[He tosses the Pokeball.
wiggle, wiggle.... wiggle! Snap!]
Don't play dirty like that! This guy's gonna be your new buddy now, okay? Sunkerrrn...
[Aaron almost closes his Pokedex, then notices its info] Or... girl.
