As quick as he came, he's gone again. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the bloodsucker's gone. But I don't get to enjoy it because every time he leaves I have to look at her face again. And I see just how... It makes me think of when he left her the first time. None of the Cullens ever saw her like I saw her. They can say all they want, but they're the ones that always hurt her. He left her ALONE IN THE FUCKING FOREST for God's sake. He's lucky Sam was able to find her. She was just a big VOID until I came around and kept her company. THAT is why I'm better for her. Because I don't play games like that. And I don't come with any life or death choices or vampire mafias or any of that.

Yeah, whatever. The castle brought him and took him away, not his fault. But that doesn't change the fact that she's hurting again because of him.

[ After letting out his frustrations, Jake throws his pen and huffs loudly. Then, he turns to Bella, tugging on her hand a bit. ]

[ they reach the top of the hill they've been climbing. from the top, they have a gorgeous view of a picturesque valley, lush and green with small bodies of water. behind them they can see the castle in the distance and the city surrounding it.

Jake honestly did not know this was here. he parks the buggy and leans over the wheel. ]
