As quick as he came, he's gone again. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the bloodsucker's gone. But I don't get to enjoy it because every time he leaves I have to look at her face again. And I see just how... It makes me think of when he left her the first time. None of the Cullens ever saw her like I saw her. They can say all they want, but they're the ones that always hurt her. He left her ALONE IN THE FUCKING FOREST for God's sake. He's lucky Sam was able to find her. She was just a big VOID until I came around and kept her company. THAT is why I'm better for her. Because I don't play games like that. And I don't come with any life or death choices or vampire mafias or any of that.

Yeah, whatever. The castle brought him and took him away, not his fault. But that doesn't change the fact that she's hurting again because of him.

[ After letting out his frustrations, Jake throws his pen and huffs loudly. Then, he turns to Bella, tugging on her hand a bit. ]

C'mon. We're getting some fresh air.

[ he wants to kiss her, but doesn't know how she'll react to soon after Edward's departure. and he remembered she told him the kissing needed to stop. instead of kissing her lips, he kisses the top of her head. ]

[ she's a little disappointed, if she's honest with herself, but she leans into him, reaching up with her free hand to run her fingers through his hair, smiling softly. it's fairly obvious how she feels about him in her eyes, however ]

[ she shivers a little at that gentle touch, keeping her eyes locked on his as she nods wordlessly, her gaze hovering between his lips and his eyes ]

[ he'll take that as a yes, and he kisses her gently. long, but gently. ]

[ she sighs into his mouth; it's obvious she wanted this, her fingers on her free hand slipping up to hold the back of his neck gently as she returns his kiss, losing herself in him ]

[ somehow, and he really doesn't know how, the kisses are better and better than before. he can sense it. he can feel it. he knows that she is kissing him not out of pity or sadness, but because she wants to. and it leaves him almost euphoric. he clutches the sleeve of her shirt a little urgently, pulling her closer, and wanting her closer even more. ]

[ being this close to him is wonderful and she lets out a soft, happy hum against his lips, her hand moving to hold his jaw beneath her palm. she needs to breathe though, and she pulls back just enough to murmur his name softly, rubbing her nose against his ]

[ it's clear that he can have more of this later, and the offer isn't going to go anywhere. he pecks her lips once more before returning a hand to the steering wheel ]

[ she's still a little ~dazzled~ in a different way than the 'usual kind' and she blinks at him a little hazily before snapping back to reality, blushing bright pink again ]

[ oh hell, he's a teenage boy who just got his girlfriend back, and he can't help but indulge in a little more kissing. this time he's bold, deepening the kiss a bit. it's enough to make the french proud. ]

[ if she was standing, she probably would've fallen over; instead she holds onto him, clasping their joined hands tightly, her free arm wrapped tightly around his neck. oops. she lets out a tiny, embarrassing moan ]
