You know, I had a vampire problem once too. She followed me everywhere for months, trying to make me her's, because I'm just that handsome.

My solution to it all: I forced her to attend a Japanese Girl's School and stripped away her magic. Granted I didn't mean to leave her stuck for... however long that was, but what can you do? It was was still a damn fine spell, even by my standards.

Seriously doubt that kinda spell will work in this place though. But hey you guys, if you need any help with them, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. Even if you just need a something to buff yourself up a little, I'll whip something up something good. I'm a Magister Magi after all.

017 - Definitional Imprecision is Troubling

I still find the terms "undead" and "demon" to be both imprecise and troubling.

There appear to be several sub-species variations, possibly going back farther than that. Are they in the same species or genus even? Subtribe? Tribe? Subfamily? Family? Superfamily? Parvorder? Infraorder? Suborder? Order? Class? Phylum? Kingdom, even?

Can any of them even be classified by any known scientific classification system? If they can be transformed from a human into what they are, by some sort of venom, or, with the some of the others, by the infusion of their blood into ours, are they then, some sort of viral mutation of our own species? You cannot transform one species into another, and the terminology does not account for this in any form.

"Undead" is not proper. It covers nothing. It explains nothing. It cannot be classified or quantified and thus cannot be measured.

It's...troubling. I do not like it.

→ General transformation from human mortal non-vampire to vampire takes approximately three days, although this varies with entry point and amount of venom in the bloodstream. Obviously there will be plenty of time to be healed in this situation.
→ If the area the venom was injected is close to the heart you could transform in under five minutes, and will be killed if it seems as though the transfomation is happening. This situation is highly unlikely.
