Sometimes I feel like Shayera and Dante just don't understand me. They don't know who I really am, but maybe 'cuz I've never explained .
I was abandoned by my parents in Hollywood... I was starving... even a basket of baseballs looked good enough to eat... I tried to steal them but they caught me, so they tied me up and hung me from a tree, and I cried and cried myself to sleep...
But I woke up to see some kids watching a movie on a screen... it was so inspiring! It was a movie about a Kryptonian who lived the good life, a life full of ice cream and fried chicken and LOVE... I knew what I had to do... GO WEST, YOUNG CLARK!
So I escaped, to where there was ice cream! And fried chicken! Hollywood!
I got to the city and found it was nothin' like I expected... I had to scrounge for food just like I did back home! I was starvin'... and that's when I ran into the gang, run by Lex Luthor. At first I was scared, 'cause they were bigger than me and stronger than me, but they gave me food and welcomed me. I ate fried chicken that night! It was great.
But then I met her... she was beautiful. Lana Lang. She most beautiful woman I had ever seen. But when I asked her out she rejected me! She said she had a boyfriend. She said:
"Meow meow meow... meow meow... He's a rich man and he can buy me anything I want. And what are you? You're not rich. You're not even human! You're just a street Kryptonian. You'll never be human, so just forget about me."
I saw the look in her eyes when she saw those diamonds, all those jewels and riches... I knew I could never measure up to that as I was. So I had to do something! So I learned to be human... a weird human, but a human!"
But she rejected me again!
"What's so human about you? Look at yourself. You may stand on two legs and speak like a human but you're still just a dirty street Kryptonian with no money. You're worse than before; now you're a FREAK!"
But then more stuff happened, she still ended up with Lex, even though I saved her life from something. But that was all a long time ago. Sometimes I still think about it, even though she's with me now, and I'm really happy. I really love her. Anyway...
I joined Team Deathmatch to become rich and powerful but that dream just never came true... [sigh]...
