.... hmm. For everyone's complains about the castle being boring, I've found more than enough to keep myself occupied. Of course, I haven't been here for long, either. I should check out the library at some point, but before I do... does anyone have any idea of how the castle is designed? It seems to me it really needs an elevator to fit everyone's needs, and I don't know if there's someone to ask about it or not. If not... hmm. Drilling a hole for the shaft without damaging the castle's structural integrity would be the biggest problem.... Sometimes the whole 'architect' thing comes in handy. Anyone interested?

This is a small test I've created for my student Lloyd Irving. Others are welcome to take it, but will not be graded (as it may be too simple for them). Only Lloyd's quiz will have an official grade. Yes, Mister Irving, this is going down on your permanent record that I will turn in to your father if I ever see him again.

I'm not going to feel sorry for myself anymore! Sure, I'm in a strange place, alone, not sure if Clare is OK, weaponless, and high up, but it could be worse. I could be in the grip of that monster again. Ug. I'd do anything just to get that memory out of my head... And the others of course. [Scratched out and illegible]

I'm going to go down to the kitchen and do what Clare took me on to do: Cook. So, hey! Whoever wants anything, tell me and then head down to the kitchen when I tell you your food is done or almost done.
