I'd been wondering where this book had gotten to. It seems to have been... in my closet all this time. That's a bit strange, since I didn't put it there. At least, I don't recall having put it there.

So many things have happened since I last wrote here... first those terrible murders, then that enormous monster — I didn't dare try to fight it without my spells, but I'm glad some of you seem to have dispatched of it — then all the snakes in the castle just the other day... and so many people have just arrived! Was there something keeping all of you from coming here before, I wonder?

And... well, in the midst of all this, I seem to have managed to twist my ankle when I... oh, this is going to sound silly, but I tripped on a... a rather large rock out in the gardens the other day. And just as I was getting up, I nearly stepped on one of those snakes. I suppose things could have been worse and I could have been bitten. But it isn't very comfortable trying to climb up and down all these flights of stairs with a twisted ankle. If I only had my healing magic...

...I'm still not quite sure what happened. If I've offended Sehanine somehow, I... I'm just not certain what I'm going to do.

I don't know what the date is or how long it's been since I was brought to this place.

The last thing I remember is my search through the library. I was finishing off a paper on basic energy forces as used in lift transportation and I couldn't find the right book... I guess I fell asleep.

I woke up here a few hours ago. This isn't the room I was given before and the structural foundation of the castle isn't reminiscent of Radiant Garden at all. I can only hope I'm wrong in thinking that.

Right. So far this place has only gotten more and more frustrating. It ends up Monkey's here and Hakkai as well. But what the hell is going on with these guys? Hakkai doesn't remember his own name. Or even Chin Yisou. And monkey's acting like a damn idiot and claiming he doesn't even know me.

I have discovered that cooking with Sake can create some really amazing results...it's kind of a touchy art, though. There are too many different kinds of Sake that taste good only with certain things apparently. I used...some...Gingi I think it was called with salmon and...oh man. It was amazing.

I think experimenting is about to ensue. I might go talk to one of the restaurants in town and ask for some tips because I think I'm in love.

Yes, I'm sure many of you already knew this but it's a new discovery for me. I'd never touched the stuff before, to be honest. I'm a little bit of a lightweight, you see, and I didn't cook nearly as much at home as I do here so that never occured to me. I also seem to be becoming obsessed with the use of Wasabi. I can NOT handle the stuff gracefully because, I gotta face the facts, Hot food and me..well I love it but I'm SUCH a wuss about it. You should see me carry on if I get a piece of sushi with too much wasabi on it. It's ridiculous how I flail about. (though I imagine that if you're not me it's pretty entertaining to watch).

I still prefer baking but whenever I bake I make MASS quantities of food and that can get a little old.
I think tonight I might make some salmon with a caramel glaze or something..it sounds really good...I like salmon a little too much I think. I can't help it that it's so incredible though!

It really is a shame that the diary can't fit in my pocket. I still cannot find Jill and I'm beginning to wonder if she arrived at this castle. I still haven't been able to figure out my purpose for being sent here. At least, I didn't end up on a ship this time. I do hate being seasick. There is quite a ruckus going on next door so I think I won't stay in my room for very long. 
Here's  hoping that the magic works twice.
