[ She can also be found at the gym, as always, practicing.

You may hear echoes of this music from outside, accompanied by the occasional sound of wood tapping against linoleum. Once she finishes a round, she takes a few minutes to breathe, then does it again. Sometimes she rehearses a part many times, perfecting it. And sometimes, after a good round, she curtsies to herself in the mirror and smiles.

But Nina doesn't smile when she dances. ]

[It takes him a minute to place this message. Even if he'd have caught it when it was spoken, she'd probably sound a little differently now that she wasn't on the brink of death and barely managing a broken whisper.

The music picked up in the background also help to clue him in. Ballet music and dolled up ballerina sort of go hand-in-hand. Luckily, he had only encountered one of the former since arriving in Paradisa]

[ There is a long pause here where Nina finally decides that, despite his name, he isn't a figment of her imagination. When she speaks, it's hesitant and quiet. ]

[ Two people so far have pinpointed the name, which gives her a slight thrill. It always seemed like people stopped going to see the ballet, but it might just be the pessimists talking. ]

Yes--it's when Giselle dances to impress the duke, Albrecht. It's pretty, actually.

[Harley's coming down from the roof when she hears music. Because she's incurably curious, she'll be peeking into the gym to see what it is. And because she's damn impressed, she'll be tiptoeing inside to watch.]

[ By the time Harley arrives, Nina is just finishing the sequence of piques, small turns. Ending with a brief bow, she stands up, still catching her breath and raises a hand to greet her. ]

Hi. Did you want to use the room?

[ In the middle of the variation, Nina's attention is concentrated on her own reflection. She is dissecting her every movement, making a growing mental list of corrections for the next time. But when she turns to one side, she suddenly realizes she isn't alone. Nina gasps and steps back in surprise. ]

Oh. I'm sorry--I didn't see you there.

She's watching quietly. For the most part. Eventually, she does make a sound.]

[ Nina's face is lined with concentration as she practices her battus across the room, hopping on one pointed foot. Noticing the sound, she quickly drops to her feet and whips around, decidedly nervous at her presence. ]

[ Nina finishes a sequence without even registering his presence, her sight fixed on the mirror even as she goes through her 20 piqués, though she slightly stumbles before the curtsy. Her face is decidedly sour when she stands back up, jumping in surprise to see him. ]

[she's hardly ever near the gym, but the music draws her like a moth to flame. It's the sight that stops her, though, the artist watching in fascination as Nina moves fluidly through her dance.]

[ Having had quite a few visitors today, Nina isn't so surprised to notice the woman from the corner of her eyes. She flashes her a polite smile by way of acknowledgment as she finishes her sequence, pausing at the bow, then standing up to face her. ]
