Is there a limit to how much we can ask of the Castle?
Angel;
Were you the one who brought me here?
Clark;
I'm sorry.
[ She can also be found at the gym, as always, practicing.
You may hear echoes of this music from outside, accompanied by the occasional sound of wood tapping against linoleum. Once she finishes a round, she takes a few minutes to breathe, then does it again. Sometimes she rehearses a part many times, perfecting it. And sometimes, after a good round, she curtsies to herself in the mirror and smiles.
But Nina doesn't smile when she dances. ]

This girl
[I wouldn't get my hopes up. Angel only knows it because it is canon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiting_in_the_Wings_%28Angel%29)]
It's my favorite.
forever~
[ She would be happy to know that it made him cry--and he was evil then ♥ ]
My favorite is Swan Lake, but Giselle is beautiful.
[ Here is another pause in which she twiddles her fingers while gathering the courage to speak. ]
Were you the one who brought me to this Castle?
no subject
[Lmfao. Sadly, I don't think he'll be admitting that part anytime soon]
You were already in the castle, actually. I found you in the lobby.
[Which reminds him, they never did figure out what happened there exactly]
It looked like you had been attacked.
no subject
[ Now that makes more sense, though the revelation also killed off the hope she had that if he brought her here then he can bring her back. Nina avoids addressing that last part for now. ]
You healed me?

He'd be pretty hard to miss, what with having gold skin and all. You were pretty out of it at that point though. I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't remember everything.

[ She sounds deflated. But the gaps are filled now and it seems her case is the same as everyone else's. ]
I'll thank him when I see him. And--thank you, too.
no subject
[No ... pun intended. Yeah, it was probably not the best choice of words]
You're welcome.
[But he's not ready to leave it at that. Sorry, bb]
Look, I don't mean to push the issue but ... you didn't happen to see who it was, did you? Who attacked you, I mean.

[ is the only reply she can come up with. She did dance through the whole second act of Swan Lake with the shard of glass wedged in her stomach. ]
I--no. Whoever it is isn't here.
[ Nina feels obliged to tell him, since she practically owes him her life. But she is scared that saying it will make it true and unchangeable. ]
no subject
That also meant that she must have just arrived here after being attacked in her own world]
Are you settling in alright?
no subject
Yes. I--I want to thank you. You saved my life.

[He can practically hear Cordelia yelling at him for offering their services for free here]
no subject
If you say so.
no subject
Although...
no subject
Yes?

As far as I know, you're the first person trained in ballet to show up here. It's been a while [read: a few hundred years] since I've actually had the chance to enjoy a live performance. I wouldn't say no to a show--
[Wait, that came off like a creepy proposition for a lap dance, didn't it?]
I don't mean like a private dance or anything. I'm sure some of the other residents would enjoy attending something. Right now, the only alternatives are watching movies and spending time in the sunshine room. If you wanted to, I mean. I'm not sure if that would be something that interests you.

I would love to. Do you have a favorite?

You said you liked Swan Lake, right? If I'm remembering correctly, that had some nice variations too.

That would be great.

[ And it really is. Now she has something real to rehearse for. ]
