[ it's mid-afternoon when a tiny little creature descends from one of the trees surrounding the castle. It's as close as Alexstrasza dares get to the blasted place, but after a certain crystal was put up she can't help but want to know more about the new magic she sensed.

So in squirrel form she'll slowly be making her way across the grounds, hopping to clear the snow djkgd but pausing every few seconds to look around before slowly continuing toward the castle's courtyard even if she really, really would prefer not to. ]

[Well hello there, tiny squirrel who is most definitely nothing more than it seems! Merlin is watching from a short distance away, stopping in his tracks to watch this. It's an adorable sight, no one would be able to resist.

He looks around for any signs of what this critter would be after and... sees nothing of squirrely interest. So... he'll give it something of interest as he tosses an acorn its way.]

[cute adorable squirrel? Hell yes, the tall stoic girl is stopping to quietly stare. She can't remember the last time, if ever, she's seen a squirrel around here. Trying to not make much movement and scare off the little animal, she immediately starts fishing around in her pockets for something maybe edible for squirrels]

Here's a bitty bird who isn't quite used to his wings, fluttering unsteadily till he lands in that scrubby tree in the courtyard. He sort of drops the last two feet and just clings for dear life, waits at least until the branch stops swaying (and dumping snow on the ground) until he goes ANYWHERE.

... sorry if he dumped snow on anybody down there!]
