[ it's mid-afternoon when a tiny little creature descends from one of the trees surrounding the castle. It's as close as Alexstrasza dares get to the blasted place, but after a certain crystal was put up she can't help but want to know more about the new magic she sensed.

So in squirrel form she'll slowly be making her way across the grounds, hopping to clear the snow djkgd but pausing every few seconds to look around before slowly continuing toward the castle's courtyard even if she really, really would prefer not to. ]

[Cross himself is walking over to take another glance at this shiny new crystal. My, it is rather out in the open — and yet, the ability it could do and provide for the residents is fantastic. Of course, his real desire would be to test out the crystal necklace in the Dead Zone.]

[okay, now his senses are tingling he is beginning to get that nagging feeling in the back of his head. he will wait a few seconds before turning around]

he smirks and walks to a bench a few feet away, taking his satchel off of his person and pulling something out~]
