[ it's mid-afternoon when a tiny little creature descends from one of the trees surrounding the castle. It's as close as Alexstrasza dares get to the blasted place, but after a certain crystal was put up she can't help but want to know more about the new magic she sensed.

So in squirrel form she'll slowly be making her way across the grounds, hopping to clear the snow djkgd but pausing every few seconds to look around before slowly continuing toward the castle's courtyard even if she really, really would prefer not to. ]

[she has its attention! She crouches down slowly, sitting on her heels, checking every pocket for a treat.

aha! she feels something, and pulls out a... oh. A dog cookie. That's probably no good]

[she puts the dog treat back into her pocket with a slight frown, and glances around for something else. Maybe a pine cone--she'd seen squirrels pick at those before--or something... but also comes up empty-handed.

Her frown deepens.

She isn't going to let this deter her, however. Treatless, she tries inching forward anyway, if only to get closer for a better look at the little animal]
