[Later in the day after dropping that gift off at Naruto's room, Hinata can be found in the lobby, staring at her journal. For today, she's opted to actually wear the clothing the castle provided as she found one that has...pants. She's debating on if she wants to ask the question she really wants to ask, or to go with something safer...]

There are more lights today than there were yesterday. And while they are very lovely, um, I-I'm more than a little curious as to what the castle is preparing to celebrate... This doesn't quite match with what I've heard of Halloween, nor with what we did last year.

Um, I've also heard that there's a casino here. I-I hope no one has, um, lost all their money in it.

Has something similar like this happened before..? I-I almost wonder if the castle is trying to see how well we do without living in it... But the leaves are troublesome. Surely the trees don't have this many leaves. But, um, does anyone think this will keep up all autumn? Because if so, shouldn't we come up with some way to deal with them, so...so it's easier for everyone to get around?

Hmm... [tap tap tapping of a pen]

Ah, I-I guess you're right... It's not a good name.

[Flipping some more pages, and the tapping sound is back. It's how she thinks, ok.]

I guess I'm not very good at this naming thing... Sorry.

[Hinata is in the library today with a kitten who is enjoying knocking her pen out of her hand for every bad name...or maybe for the tapping. It could be a game. The desk she has sequestered is covered with books on cat care (the majority of them are...not so great), a couple of books on versions of Earth justice, and various sheets of paper filled with notes on both. And...also a book of pet names. That she's testing out. She's had this kitten for about a month now and hasn't given him a name yet.

Obviously, it's poor manners to keep changing your cat's name every few days or just not giving him one some days. But if only there weren't so many options when it came to names.]

Hinata is in the stables, having just made it back finally from all the little dots on a map found in Riful's room. Sans Ashura and with his...dragon-horse creature. She really doesn't know what she's doing when it comes to taking care of anything with four legs. Hence why she's back later than she planned.

After only a moment of thinking long and hard about how to tackle this problem, she's...caving and turning to her journal.]

This is Hinata and, um, for those who don't know... I went out about a week ago with Ashura to investigate a map that was found in Lois' room. Together we investigated all the marked points, and others even came out to look over one for us using their abilities. Um, what we found at all the points is listed here (page #). The dress tatters I-I collected and have with me if anyone would like to take a closer look...and see if they may find something more from it...and if anyone has any questions or would like anything more detailed, feel more than free to ask.

...And a few days ago, Ashura...disappeared. Has anyone--um, I-I know he can handle himself, but...has anyone come across him? [And, you know, that he's fine. She feels so bad she didn't say something sooner. So, so horrible. In her defense though, she kind of had to deal with his mount.

Which brings her to her last order of business. She glances over at Svitana and sighs.]

Also...if anyone knows how to handle horse-like creatures. Um, would you mind heading to the stables to...to assist me with something?

[On the sixth floor, Hinata's sitting on the floor next to the very first doorway with her journal lying on her lap. There is no name on the nameplate. No sign that its room had been used by anyone; not even by a little boy. Definitely not by a little demon boy.

She had just returned from spending the past couple of days out in the forest beating on trees under the guise of training. Because that's how she deals with her negative emotions. And she spent the first few minutes thumbing through the journal for all that she missed when she realized that one voice had been quiet for a while. So she went to check on him, to see if he's been all right.

But there had been no answer.]

If any-- [No. No, that isn't quite right.] Um, for those who knew him, Gash-...Gash Bell returned home.

Um, after...spending a while talking about doing this with someone... I-I've been wondering if...if...

[Tug. Tug. Why doesn't this door open? First the main entrance doors, and now this one as well. This...isn't a funny prank.]

If, um. Well, we had been talking about getting out and enjoying the...the, um...

[Well, if pulling doesn't work... She tosses her entire weight into pushing, even putting some chakra behind it, but nope. No budging.]

...Is it just me or is anyone else finding that some of the, um, doors of the castle are not...cooperating?

[After the way this month started, she's been quiet. She knows she's been quiet and why, and has put off a few things more than she should. She just hasn't felt up to doing much. Like talking into a magical book. But, hey, since it decided to open....]

I-I see that the festival was just a few days ago... Um, for those who went. What was it like? It seems as if it didn't go wrong...

...And this might seem a little odd. But earlier in the month, I-I was talking with...someone. And somehow it was mentioned that it seems as though we only use the library for research. Or when something is happening. And...and something about maybe starting a book club. I-I'm curious if anyone actually might be interested in something like that. I-If not, that's more than all right, too.

I-I just figured...I may as well ask. [So she can say she at least did that.]
