[Follows her in, button is pressed, they're on their way down.] It's a nice place to live - it's pretty big, so there's a lot of different landscapes. Gets kind of cold every now and then, but the scenery can't be beat.

I thought awe-inspiring men weren't scared of flower girls.

Really? Does it snow?

Well, it would depend on the flower girl.

All the time, in winter. Sometimes, even in fall or spring, too. Some people think it's even prettier when it's all covered in snow, though.

I try not to be scary unless I'm mad. So you're safe~

[There's a faraway look in her eyes at that.]

I've never known snow before. That's... kind of silly, isn't it?

Roger that, don't make you mad.

[He looks at her for a moment, just... surprised by the admission.] Really?

...were you born someplace tropical, then?

[She shakes her head.] I was born in the north, but I left there when I was still a baby. [And then she was raised in a lab, pretty much.] I spent the rest of my life underneath Midgar, until I met Cloud and traveled around with him. But I never got to see the snow.

It's okay, though. I've seen lots of pretty things to make up for it.

[He nods.] I'm sure you have. Things that I've probably never imagined, myself. Still...

...would you like to? See the snow, I mean.

[She tilts her head, then the smile comes back.]

Of course I would! But it's the middle of July right now. That'd be quite a feat, even for a man who makes the impossible possible~

[He reaches out to lightly poke her in the shoulder, grinning, as the elevator dings and the doors open] I'm a man of my word, Miss Aerith. Even if it might take a little while.

[That poke then turns into him offering her his arm.] Shall we?

[She blinks up at him, searching his eyes for something. A promise, maybe. But he means it, and... well, there's something bittersweet in her gaze before she looks away, smiling, and takes his arm.] Hmm. I guess we'll see.

[ooc: Sleep well!]

[He meets her green eyes with his own. Mwu is, by his nature, an extremely observant man - there's no missing whatever that look is in her eyes... but he won't push it.] Guess we will.

Lead the way, madam.

[He can push it later. Maybe. Aerith has a tendency to brush these things aside, you know.]

Right. [She tugs him in the direction of town~]

[And Mwu is one to go with the flow, so he inwardly shrugs - que sera sera, right? He lets her lead the way.]

So, your turn - what's it like where you're from?

[Yep.] There are nicer places on Gaia than Midgar, which I've already told you a little about. You've never been chocobo riding, have you?

...can't say that I have. Never even heard of a chocobo before. Kinda sounds like some kind of snack.

[Oh hey, Gaia. He wonders if it's the same Gaia that Reno guy was from.]

[She laughs.] It's a big yellow bird that people catch and tame really easily. They run really fast, and the special kinds can run across water or even fly. If you run fast enough, even the monsters can't get you.

[A pause. Okay. Big yellow birds running away from monsters across water.

...what] I get the feeling your world's a bit more different from mine than I'd thought. So you... ride on these birds to get away from monsters?

[She giggles at the look on his face.]

Sometimes. You can't catch them everywhere, but there's this really nice family outside of the marshes who rents stable space if you want to keep one.

[He looks a bit sheepish. Only a bit.] Well hey, that does seem nice of them.

Sounds like it'd be, uh, pretty useful. You like going for rides on them?

Mmhmm.

They go pretty fast~ It's not like anything else.

I'm sure they do, for birds. [A grin] Don't suppose there are any around here, are there?

Nope. I checked the stables, but I couldn't find any.

[... A wolf resident ate the last one some time ago. ):]

[A nod.] Well, maybe one'll show up. If this place keeps grabbing us from all these worlds... sooner or later, eh? I'd like to see one someday.

[Mwu pauses, looking around them at their surroundings, trying to map it all in his mind.] So, where is this place?

I could try asking the castle for one. It'd be a nice reminder of home, I think.

[She glances around, then points down the street.] It's down there, and to the left. Near the theater.

Probably.

...I guess you could technically ask the castle for some snow, too, but it wouldn't really be the same.

[He looks down - Hey, he thinks he sees it.] The place with the little lanterns in the window? Looks nice.
