[Bruce had managed to head over to Lana's in order to play Monopoly with her. For the past forty minutes to an hour the journal has recorded their game. Bruce insisted to ensure her that he wouldn't cheat ~ or that she wouldn't either... but he didn't exactly word it that way. However the game is entirely boring and Bruce hadn't recalled that part of the game. Hostile Global take overs were much more entertaining than this game... though he did like being the little car]
Lana I still can't believe I owe you that much for landing on St. James Place... [glances to her and pays her the paper cash before handing her the die]
Your roll. [and he tilts her head at her because she's staring at the die for a bit longer than she had been before] Lana? Everything alright?
Who... are you?
[looks at her a bit oddly]
It's Bruce? Bruce Wayne?
[aaand Lana screams and jumps up from the coffee table where they'd been playing the game.... and there goes the coffee table and their game]
Lana... it's alright, what happened?
[ooc: Lana's loss start!]

How come you...know my name? You're a...a stranger!
no subject
I know your name because we're friends... Lana what's going on?
no subject
Where am I? How come...
[ looks around, then looks down at herself ]
I'm not me! A-and...my voice is funny! How come?! Where's my...
[ paaause, since her permanent loss is her Aunt Nell, so she can't even remember who's supposed to take care of her ]
I'm s'posed to be with someone! It's..um...! It's not you!

You're in Paradisa... right now you're in your room at the Inn in the city... and your voice isn't funny and neither is your body. But I have a feeling this is all very uh- new for you. [aaand what is with him upsetting women this week??]

I'm a...grown-up.
no subject
Just.. just stay put alright? I'm not gonna hurt you.

Like a dream! Are you my husband? Is this our house? Do we have a baby? Can I hold it?
no subject
What? Are we- What? No! [realizes how stunned that sounds and corrects himself to be more polite because it's not that Lana isn't great, but he barely knows her and kids... and why is he rationalizing this???]
No Lana, we're not married. We're not even datin- [kind of figures she's a bit younger so he phrases it differently] We're not even boyfriend and girlfriend, so no babies either.
You have a horse though... and a Rapid- [yeah she might not know that one] and another horse.
no subject
You are a stranger.
If...this is a dream, I want my mom and dad to show up! Right now!

Well... that's not what I expected. [and it takes him a second to get over the whole GONE! thing before he moves to the door quickly and opens it stepping out into the rain and darkness]
Lana? [uhhh glances around wishing he had nightvision at least until his eyes adjust] Lana? [aaand there she is and he approaches her carefully]
Hey... you're going to catch cold out here. Come on, we'll get you inside and I'll get Clark to come out. Maybe he's familiar?
no subject
Clark?
[ the name's familiar, but it's not like they're bffs or anything. Still, it's enough to make her hesitate ]
The boy next door? He's um...he's...here? Where?
no subject
[tries to place a hand on her shoulder to try and get her to come with her]
Come on, the rain just gets worse the later it gets.

No touching!

Great. I liked these jeans too. [stands up, clutching his shoulder with his good hand]
Lana... [crap where'd the journal go... mud mud ... ah-ha! journal ~ sorry Clark you have muddy pages now] Really... I won't touch you, but we need to get inside.

I know she's good at Monopoly and she's asking for her parents, and apparently she's got lightning speed.
Bruce
If she's asking for her parents she's got to be a little kid. And the speed... let's keep that between us.
Where are you guys? I can't get close to her –– it's complicated –– but I can talk to her.
Clark
Sorry about the mud... we're still outside near the Inn she's staying at, and apparently not keen on me - the stranger touching her. She dislocated my shoulder.
