[Bruce had managed to head over to Lana's in order to play Monopoly with her. For the past forty minutes to an hour the journal has recorded their game. Bruce insisted to ensure her that he wouldn't cheat ~ or that she wouldn't either... but he didn't exactly word it that way. However the game is entirely boring and Bruce hadn't recalled that part of the game. Hostile Global take overs were much more entertaining than this game... though he did like being the little car]
Lana I still can't believe I owe you that much for landing on St. James Place... [glances to her and pays her the paper cash before handing her the die]
Your roll. [and he tilts her head at her because she's staring at the die for a bit longer than she had been before] Lana? Everything alright?
Who... are you?
[looks at her a bit oddly]
It's Bruce? Bruce Wayne?
[aaand Lana screams and jumps up from the coffee table where they'd been playing the game.... and there goes the coffee table and their game]
Lana... it's alright, what happened?
[ooc: Lana's loss start!]

Nobody can hurt me. I broke that table! And I hurt you. And I... I make him sick! It's my fault!
[ whimpers ]
It's better if I'm not here... I want to go home!
[ and she's knocking Bruce out of the way to zip off into the oh-so-rainy night. Sorry to add to the bruises, Brucey ]

He's soaking wet and kind of muddy now, but breathing and being without crippling pain feels so good he can ignore that. As]
Lana, stay–– [shoot, not fast enough.] ... there.
[he looks away, frustrated, and then looks at Bruce]
You alright?
I'll run you to the clinic, and then I'm going to find my––[pause]–– our friends and see if someone can track her down. Someone who won't end up on the ground if they go near her.

I'll be fine, I can set it again later. [re: the shoulder thing] I've had worse... I'm sure you realize that your earlier assumptions are true, right? [re: the G-DBatman thing]
Are you okay though? Just ... well why is she doing that to you?

[glances at him]
Yeah... Shayera wouldn't be wrong, or Tim. This totally isn't how I would have introduced myself, though.
[he pauses, checking his skin. Colour's still returning, and he lets out a deep breath. It's definitely harder to shrug off than usual, with a dose like that. He glances at Bruce, and, well, he trusts him. He has no reason not to.]
I'm, er, extremely allergic to a substance called kryptonite. Lana has nanites in her skin that have absorbed the effect of kryptonite... enough that I'll die pretty fast if I get too close to her. It's kind of a... recent development.

[he listens and nods] Tony was working on something for her... either it didn't work, or you haven't given it to her.
[glances down... and then back to Clark] She's on a loss isn't she, it's affected her mind, or her memories? [still trying to wrap his mind around it all]
no subject
I don't know. She's nine months ahead of me, or something, so I haven't seen it in the real world. All I know is what she's told me.
[thinking.]
She mentioned wanting to see her parents again... they died when she was really little. It's probably her memories, making her think she's younger. [glances off down the road] She could be anywhere by now.
no subject
Yeah, she's uh- quick, and strong. [raise of the eyebrow] Is that a recent thing as well?

I take it you two were close, and now you can't be. [ouch, he has an odd feeling he knows how difficult that can be to stay away from someone you care about] I'm sorry.

[awkward pause]
It's okay. We're... trying to find a solution.
[long breath]
I didn't realize how MUCH Kryptonite was in her, though. I knew it was a lot, but feeling it's different.
no subject
You said they were Nanites, which I assume means tech of some sort. Have you given her whatever Tony had worked out?
no subject
As far as I know, it's still a work in progress.
no subject
Tony said he'd finished them I thought, I guess it's more complicated than that. If they are machinery though... has anyone thought about an EMP? To switch them off?
no subject
Probably. Lana said she'd checked in with the scientists who made it, and none of them could change it. [he digs in his pocket for a pen, but he can't find one, so he'll settle for dictating.] Either way, I think I've decided that I don't want her to lose the suit entirely. It keeps her safe from harm.
