I think I am finally starting to arrive at some semblance of acceptance here. Of my fate, anyway. I'm just now starting to get good at not asking the computer to do everything, like turn the lights on or off, or play some music, or open the door to my room. It's been a week since I went to the kitchen and thought the microwave was a replicator. I'm finally learning to cook. I've mastered this little journal-cum-communicator and I remember to close it when I don't want to be heard. I'm getting used to all the archaic things in my bathroom, needless to say of all that's down in the clinic. I scraped my knee yesterday in the garden and was able to find some Neosporin on the first try.
So yeah, I'm learning.
( [filtered to the crew of the Enterprise] )
I still miss the constant feel of the ship humming beneath me, though. And listening to subspace transmissions.
