[dictated as usual]
When I was fifteen, I visited a neighboring country called Carthak. During my stay there, I met a Goddess who temporarily granted me the power to bring the dead to life. There was no addition of flesh or organs; they just became animated in whatever form I found them in.
The current emperor was an old associate of Numair's who wanted him dead. After a series of events which included my capture and deceit of those I came with (as a peace negotiation), I was freed by some people I met there. They told me Numair had been killed.
[pause]
To make a long story short, I ended up decimating the palace (fires, debris, complete destruction of their records) with an army of dinosaur skeletons and other assorted displays from the emperor's collection. After that, I made a pact with the rats who served the aforementioned Goddess. They'd be living over the palace grounds for a year. There'd be no way to rebuild there.
It was because the emperor had killed Numair. Granted, he ended up being alive afterwards, but that's not the point.
He was sent home a bit ago, and I can't do a damn thing about it.

[Sigh] It seems to be very in fashion at the moment. I'm sorry, would it make you feel better if I brought you along for some random chaos? [Which is as close as Crowley gets to asking if he can make someone feel better >>]

I'm just saying that destroying a castle that won't regenerate sounds awfully good about now.

It's certainly not amusing to have our emotions toyed with.

No, it's not.

And no complaints department.
