I've never much liked being treated like I was "less than" because I am a woman. I know that my voice doesn't carry much weight in matters of nobility and state, or in life at all and I have long since learned to accept that. I've found other ways to be heard and to make a difference. But what I don't really see, is why making the reverse true would make for a better outcome?

I suppose it's nice of the castle to show women a bit of respect today, but I don't think we should be treated special just because we are women, any more then I see men deserving of special treatment because they are men.

It isn't going to make me feel any better or worse about my station in life as a woman if for one day I get to boss men around.

And really, if the castle was interested in giving women special treatment today, shouldn't the men be kept in the kitchen and not kept out? Or perhaps make them all pregnant...
