[mortified from what had been happening to her and others these past few days, the bounty hunter finds herself traipsing through the hallways from the castle, trying to get her bearings. she doesn't want to run into any other people that will get her in any more awkward situations, but alas, finding such solace was practically impossible a setting such as this. there were people and wreaths around every corner, and she certainly is trying her best to slink her way right past the lot of them.

perhaps Jun can manage to make her way to the deathmatch or something without feeling the gripping desire of the rather festive holiday cheer. oh yes, dealing with this total and utter insanity would be far more tolerable after a few hard drinks have been so wonderfully shot back. if there was any feeling that was going to wash right over, a certain degree of inebriation was going to be ideal.]

<sub>(ooc. yeah, you know what this is. for whomever's left that had volunteered but we haven't gotten to yet. and interlopers who want a piece of the action, but didn't say so, you're welcome as well.

[There's the sound of bare feet on stone floor and furniture shifting, but no other comments from the castle's new occupant. Then the journal pages rustle, and there's a long, drawn out sigh which holds an undertone of irritation held strictly in check. Clearly someone's doing his research.

I'm in a castle that has taken something from me and won't let me leave, but in return will provide me with anything I want. Also this journal can be used for communication, or embarrassing revelations, as it apparent from the most recent uses of it.

He's been busy organizing Host Club things, as usual, so he hasn't really checked the journal ... he's read about last year's mistletoe fiasco, but figures he can avoid that easily. [Ford Prefect is highly amused by all this snogging going on. He even got a rather nice one from the Doctor, and he hadn't even done anything to his pheromone levels (that's right, he can change them if he wants to). He's sort of wishing the Eccentrica Gallumbits, the Triple-Breasted Whore of Eroticon Six was around for all this, but he figures the chances of that are sadly pretty slim. A masquerade ball? I think that sounds a little exciting, but I'm not sure if I'll go. It seems like it could be fun but, I mean, I'm not very good when it comes to dancing and stuff... I'm still getting used to being a human, too.

[One rather distraught Liz Lemon is in the Lux, nursing a Pinot Grigio. She may have had two or three already, but she's trying to forget the fact that she snogged another woman. Not that it was bad, mind you, and that was part of what was currently freaking her out. It didn't help that the last time she snogged a girl it was for a dare at summer camp, but then the girl drowned. Liz, of course, is too wrapped up in all of these thoughts to notice the fact that another of those pesky wreaths is hanging nearby.]

CHRISTMAS MASQUERADE ACTION THREAD

[In order to enter the ballroom, one must approach the door -- it will open if you are wearing a mask and formalwear.

The ballroom has elegantly transformed into a larger area to accommodate everyone if need be -- the ceiling is high, the lights are dimmed, and there are tiny Christmas lights hanging from everywhere on the ceiling in long strings like stars. There's only a few wreaths hidden in the corners, so if you're careful they're easy to avoid.

There's classical orchestral music playing in the background that's not too loud, but not too soft, either. It's recognizable, yet somewhat vague enough that you can't name the exact tune. There is a table with punch and small things like cookies and crackers.
