Who: Gwaine and YOU
What: A medieval man in a casino. This can only end well.
When: Second day of Diwali, fuck yeah
Where: Ballroom-turned-casino
Sir Gwaine is going to punch Allen Walker.
The temperatures have taken a very noticeable downturn so wandering out shirtless is not a very good idea lately. However, neither does he want to stay in the house overlong. Gwaine + work ≠ happy and work is what Arthur has been piling on after the braining and kidnapping fiasco.
Unfortunately for him, the only clothes left in the house today were these. Or so Allen a little too cheerfully informed him before basically shoving the shirt over Gwaine's head.
Yep. Gwaine is going to punch Allen. But that'll have to wait. The foreign sound and lights of slot machines are doing a very good job of distracting him right now.

Of course, they never did seem to stay that way.
Either way, she poked her head into the ballroom when she heard some of the unusual sounds coming from the doorway, comfortably wrapped in a pretty purple sari. What was this, another game room ... ?

He's depositing the money into the slot and then pressing buttons at random. When the dials start to spin, he visibly startles.
"How...?"

Either way, she knows someone who's confused as hell by technology when she sees one, so she decided to slink up behind him quietly (ninja stealth, it always comes in handy) and peer around him to see what he was doing.
"Having trouble?"

That just makes him jump higher and go for the blade he keeps on him. His hand closes around the hilt before he places the voice.
"Ino." He exhales a surprised laugh, hair whipping out of his face as he turns around. Looking her over, he shoots her a rakish grin. "That has yet to be seen. But if you are trouble, I'll gladly suffer the consequences."

She'll grin a little in return, lifting an eyebrow just a little. "Me, trouble? Never."

Well, Mildmay could have made a fortune in this place. He was certain his brother could have easily tripled the caisos the castle had gifted him. The only thing was, he wouldn't do it. Not unless he had no choice.
A fond smile threatened as he passed by the card tables. He'd actually adorned on of his new outfits (http://picasaweb.google.com/110241551685119697213/FabulousGroomSherwanisCollectionSeries6001To6025#5557207204612781506). It was certainly a different style, but it surprisingly, it suited him rather well.

"Ah, sorry, my friend." He steps forward again, glancing over his shoulder as he does so. The world suddenly goes into soft focus, time seemingly slowing down so you can catch every movement of Gwaine's hair as it is whipped away from his face. A smile is quirking up his lips, a ready alcohol-induced flush on his skin. His shirt is open at the top, revealing a collarbone that looks like it was molded by the gods themselves.
XD
"No harm done," Felix replied with a huge smile, his eyes lingering on Gwaine's throat a moment or two longer than necessary, "I hope you didn't spill any of your drink."

"Almost done." He grins. "But I appreciate the concern."

Maybe it was the holiday or the thought that maybe she could learn about something new, or that it seemed like the castle had done something to cover her injury site with the saree it offered her, but she figured it woudn't kill her (she's already dead) to venture out in the outfit and see what sort of trouble she could get into.
She made sure to stay the night in the castle, not wanting to trudge through the leaves in the morning and got dressed in what was provided, as best she could. It did seem a bit excessive on the fabric, but she figured she wouldn't be the only one dressed like this.
Dressed and full of a bit more confidence than she figured is required for this outfit, she headed down to the casino to see what sort of money she could make. It might be one of the few times her loss won't ruin everything. She'd like to take advantage of it.

"Jo!" He bows, never once taking his eyes off her face. "Either my eyes deceive me or you grow more beautiful every time I see you."
no subject
"I think your eyes are deceiving you. This thing can't be pulling that much overtime." Her hands gesture down to the saree that she's wearing, still trying to figure out how the hell anyone can do anything while holding half of it in her arm.

She felt right at home exploring the ballroom turned casino. She liked any sort of opportunity to feel important, to draw attention to herself. Besides, there was fun in games of chance. Especially if you could figure out how to work them.
She was currently wandering through, sipping at a mixed drink as she did so. If nothing else, this would provide for good opportunity to people watch, see who she should keep an eye on in the future.

and even if she doesn't. As it is, just by pressing random buttons, the slot rewards him with a hundred more than he'd put in—and from the looks of it he's about to give that money right back.no subject

"If only I knew how to stop." And play for that matter.

But for now Allen could be found inside the casino, which grabbed his interest. He is currently watching a game of blackjack being played, run by the ghosts. Whether or not he's learning the rules or trying to figure out how to cheat, it's hard to say.

extremely alcoholic to the extremedrink over Allen's head. And when Allen was a twitchy, unconscious heap on the floor possibly start worrying. But he's not quite annoyed enough to waste good alcohol. Rather, he'll just lounge over and throw an arm around Allen's shoulders. Because if he's going to be seen in public wearing such gaudy clothes, he'll make sure Allen is seen with him. He signals to the table with his drink."Know this game?"
no subject
"I'm learning it now."
no subject
"Not from your time either?" He takes a sip, not noticing or simply ignoring Allen's discomfort. "What do you know about it?"
Shove him back to the slots, Allen, don't let him near the tables...

Which was apparently quite a bit as he had managed to double his money in a short amount of time, and with his eyes presently locked on the cards before him he was really not paying attention to his surroundings. And dressed as he was (http://i.imgur.com/w4Qjz.jpg) he was hardly sticking out in the crowd except for that sizable pile of casio's near him as he concentrated on his game of blackjack.
