[You've all searched long and hard to get here--a strange manor surrounded by thick forests and right near the mountains that encompass Paradisa's castle. It's old-looking and you can't quite place the architecture...and it has an oddly empty feel to it. It certainly doesn't look like the place where a guts-eating monster would be dwelling, nor where she'd kidnap and torture people. But appearances can certainly be deceiving...

Now that everyone involved knows where she is, it's time to converge and figure out a battle plan.]

[It's kind of a thing from being a general. He doesn't stay in one place, and communication is key and since they don't have walkies or anything and he's not a telepath...

He smiles at Junior and nods.]

[Blinks, recognizing the other's voice as well and offers another smile, clicking and shifting so his horse prances sideways for a moment so Ashura can clearly see Peter.]

Oh yes. I taught him how to ride a horse before all of this broke out. I hope we can continue the lessons once we've rescued everyone. He's a sweet man.

Teaching someone who can fly how to ride a horse? That's new! Horse riding is fun, though. Woulda been left flat on my ass during the expedition without one.

I can read people's thoughts. I've been trying to listen in and see if I can pick up on one of the kidnap victims. So far I haven't, so I don't think we're close enough yet.

Somehow, the fact you can't doesn't surprise me. She's made this hard enough to find already, so that she can shield the prisoners from your powers isn't that big a stretch.

She managed to subdue at least what? Four of five people with presumably great amounts of power themselves and has kept them caged for almost a week. It should have been obvious she had power.

You mean the drawings, yes? Somehow I think they had a lot to do with what's going on now. I wish I had been able to understand them better when he showed me.

I know what you mean. I've had my own personal experience with his predictions. It's always very clear looking back, but I can never get it looking forward.

There was someone else from our world who did get it, I just wish I knew how.
