Part One of Three: SEARCH PARTIES // HOSTAGES - Pre-battle prep

[You've all searched long and hard to get here--a strange manor surrounded by thick forests and right near the mountains that encompass Paradisa's castle. It's old-looking and you can't quite place the architecture...and it has an oddly empty feel to it. It certainly doesn't look like the place where a guts-eating monster would be dwelling, nor where she'd kidnap and torture people. But appearances can certainly be deceiving...

Now that everyone involved knows where she is, it's time to converge and figure out a battle plan.]

[oh, too bad; it doesn't look like they want to introduce themselves ): unfortunately Dick knock-out gas is ineffective on Riful so even if she's doused in it nothing will happen--what she is interested in though is Allen's attack--certainly no human could do that, and it remind her vaguely of a Yoma's....however she doesn't sense any energy from him.

[She won't move at all when the Clown belt catches her arm...but it won't get pulled back by it either. In fact that only time her arm moves is when she lifts it to inspect the strange, eerie-feeling hold]

I don't sense any Yoki from you at all... Tell me young boy, what sort of ability is this?

It's Innocence. It's meant to fight creatures like you!

[And he lunges forwards a bit, swiping his claw to release the Edge End (http://mangastream.com/read/d_gray_man/22426982/21) move that slashes at her]

[the grapple takes! Although Riful doesn't seem at all worried...not even when Allen slashes at her! In fact she won't move at all and takes the hit right on, allowing it to slash into her body. A little smoke will start to rise because it does sting...but instead of making any sound of discomfort she'll actually smile]

I'm sorry...I know you probably tried your hardest to get here but you won't be able to harm me with something like that.

[and to prove it she'll suddenly be...literally falling to pieces; at least where Allen's cut her, and from there tendrils are going to shoot out into both Dick and Allen to shove them into the ground hard and pin them there (without piercing their skin; just with pressure)]

[He falls to ground as the tendrils pin him down groaning at the impact] Ugh-!

[But unlike Dick, instead of thinking things through he starts trying to cut the tendrils with his claws as fast as he can]

[Allen, how rude B( Harming a lady like that...even if she eats guts! She's not taking too kindly to the stinging Innocence nor being cut--as soon as he starts slashing a secondary tendril will shoot out and wrap around his wrist, slamming it hard into the ground and sizzling as it contacts the holy weapon.

She won't miss Dick's actions though, and after a moment she simply lifts him into the air with the tendrils, wrapped them around him like a cocoon and squeezing tight]

You two are full of all sorts of surprises... But that arm or your really is troublesome. Maybe I should remove it for you?

[Luckily the Innnocence cape guards him from the electrical charge mostly but it still stings some. He grits his teeth at her slamming down the weapon, because against the innocence he can feel the yoma-power and...it's not that pleasant of a feeling at all. ]

No thanks...I can remove it myself!

[And with that he concentrates so his arm suddenly transforms into it's sword shape and he grabs the hilt with his other hand, attempting to slash through her]

--!! [oh my goodness, that electricity thing is something she's never experienced at all! It's painful yes and sends "goosebumps" all over her body. It's surprising enough that she'll actually lose her grip on the two of them enough for Dick to fall to safety and Allen to cut her--several of the tendrils from the one arm she's transformed (1/3 of her body at the moment, including her flayed torso) are cut off successfully!

She'll even stumble a little to one knee, looking surprised -- and feeling delighted]

Oh...oh no! No, please--what was that? With that sort of strong attack I-I'll surely...!

[Gets out of the tentacles jumping back. he sees that nod and nods back, before charging along with Dick and when they reach them, he'll leap at her with another slashing attack, this time aimed at the chest]

No, please--! [another protest for them to stop. Surely if they use another strong attack on her she'll be injured...right? Another of those strange shocks and some hidden technique disguised behind their painfully obvious movements.....]

[He continues his own slash, trying his best to cut through her. As soon as he sees Dick plant something in her, he has the good sense to get away so he'll quickly use a ribbon to attach to a tree and pull himself away and up into the tree]

[And Riful really has no idea what to expect here--she'll blink up at Dick and follow him as he sticks something on her, but before she can reach around to grab it Allen's at her front and she's going to allow him to slice at her again--more tendrils will fall off, though those are the thinner ones!]

--!! [and *that's* when the plasma grenade goes off and sends of a huge explosion, kicking up dust and rocks and making Riful yelp in surprise]

[He's looking down from the branch of the tree, trying to see Riful. He has serious doubts this is the end of her - he's fought Teresa enough times to know that someone of Riful's rep gotta be much stronger than this]

[indeed, Allen's right....everything remains completely still for several long, drawn-out moments as the dust clears and settles....but when it does?

Riful's standing there just...staring at them in confusion.]

That was good, but I wanted to see something new. A new, powerful attack!

...You do have one, right? That wasn't really all there was to it was there?

[Not good at all. Allen knew he was outmatched, but what he wanted was more time for the people to get closer, more of her abilities caught on Tim. So instead he'll glare down at her]

No it wasn't!

CROSS GRAVE! [He swipes his claws again and shoots out about a dozen crown shaped projectiles at her that should explode on contact]

[Excellent work Allen! That would be an effective plan of attack...if she'd stuck around for it ): She was so disappointed with the first turn of events that she's not going to give them a second chance.

She's vanishing from her spot entirely and coming up from behind them--yes, in the air. Both her arms will turn into tendrils now that will slice through the air and hit them, instending to pierce non-vital areas and stick them into the ground face-down]
