[Nessie is in the forest, perched in a tree. Her legs are dangling over the edge and she's leaning against the trunk.]

[She had to get out of the castle and away from everything. Bella and Edward, who were supposed to be her parents but were too wrapped up in each other to care; Jake who was supposed to be her soul mate but still had feelings for her mother and was now on a loss; her aunts who she cared for but couldn't always keep running to...]

[Nessie felt completely alone.]

[Nessie is sitting on the bed, back against the wall and her knees up against her chest. Her arms are wrapped around a pillow and her head is resting on it. Every now and then she hums a bit of the lullaby her father wrote for her mother.]

Well, that wasn't so bad. I heard people landed in ponds or in trees? Must not have been comfortable.

I found myself in someone's closet -- I don't know  who it belonged to, but I apologize! I promise I didn't sneak around or anything.

[a pause, and she is trying to think of things to talk about -- Nessie isn't used to being away from like half her family, and wants friends =( ]

Um...does anyone else plan on dressing up for Halloween? There are lots of different things we can do.

Well.

Mom left. I wish that I had been able to say good-bye, but the way she was...I don't think she would have liked that. I feel really guilty, even though I know I shouldn't.

At least some of my family is here. I don't know what I would do if I ended up here by myself.

[pauses]

Floor eleven. Who else is on floor eleven? I don't know that many people here yet.

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
