Entrée de Journal Deux: Living Arrangements.
After my rather abrupt entrance the other day and a few attempts at trying to return; it would appear that I am stuck here, so I suppose proper introductions are in order.
My name is Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, a surname I hope will be familiar to at least a few of you, pureblood wizard, from a long line of purebloods and no doubt wealthier than you could hope to be.
I did study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, initially with Albus Dumbledore as headmaster and then Professor Snape my old head of house.
[Soft frown and a quiet pause for a moment before changing tack]
Anyway I have been told I live next door to an angel and that there's a demon on the other side of him, I've not actually met either of them but am I the only one that finds this a little bit disconcerting?
I'm not going to have the fires of hell suddenly lick up my bedroom door whilst some celestial battle goes on, am I? Whose bright idea was it to put those particular forms of life together?
Oh Joy...and apparently a demon hunter further down the hall from them...
Yes this will go well.
[sighs huffily and walks with the journal in his hand]
And guess who else the castle has deemed fit for sticking me on the same hall as...
[Insert girlish shriek before a yell issues out]
Bloody hell Longbottom! Your toad in my sodding loo!

The ghosts'll make you something, if you like.
To be honest, I don't know much about cooking, either. But then... I don't eat. At least, nothing you cook.

Sits down and looks around the dining room.

But. [grins at him]
What's quidditch?
no subject
Mmm it's a game we play in my world, with brooms and a set of balls. Bludgers, Quaffles and a snitch. Seven players in each team, three goals each:
One keeper for the three goals,
Three chasers to throw the two quaffes through the goalsscoring ten points each
Two beaters to try and hit the chasers of the opposing teams with two large bludgers
One Seeker who catches a small golden ball with wings called a snitch, tiny little thing but if you get it you get 150 points and end the game.

[Nods as he eats and pumpkin juice appears beside him.]

In the air. We could probably build a pitch here, if you really miss it. Plenty of residents capable of flying and making magical flying balls.
no subject
Really? We'd need brooms too, do you think the castle can make those?
[asks offering her a bit of his drink]
no subject
[shakes her head to refuse the offer]
No, I'm fine - I prefer the smell of food to the taste. Like I said, I don't really eat this kind of thing. Vampire. [shrugs and smiles]

I suppose it's because of what I told him - after being able to taste a person's life, longings, hopes and dreams in blood... nothing else tastes as good as it used to.
no subject
I suppose, [replies with a grimace]
Blood doesnt' quite have the same connotations to me.
no subject
Yes, I can imagine so. I... tend to get a little carried away and forget that I'm speaking to mortals. Sorry. [little smile]

[impish grin]
no subject
No...well not usually I hope.
no subject
I assume this doesn't need to be said, but I'm going to lay it out anyway...
You are in no danger from me. And if the general agreement is upheld [pause and a somewhat sharp breath - she knows EXACTLY what she'd do to anyone who doesn't] ...you are in no danger from any other of my kind, either.

[Asks curiously as he finishes his sandwich.]

Well... I've been questioning you alsmost non-stop now. Is tehre anything You'd like to know?
no subject
What are your limitations?
no subject
I can't heal if my heart is beyond repair... I can escape physical traps easily, but not mental ones if made by those stronger than me... I can't go more than three weeks without feeding and not lose strength... I can't break the sound barrier, and I don't think I can reduce diamonds to dust with my hands, although I've never tried. Those kind of limitations?
