[ It's been a long time since Alexstrasza's gone near the castle--over a month now. Her sleep was longer than she had planned it to be and not nearly so restful as one would hope, but it feels good to be awake; outside of her nest and once again among the vitality of the outdoors.

And that's where today will find her! c: out in the woods, walking through the forest to get a feel for the land again. For some reason it feels like so much longer longer than it was, and for now she just wants to revel in it♥

I wonder how much more weirdness the castle can throw at us. The past month's been pretty busy. [ And if it wasn't the castle then it was the residents but still... so much ]

Also, if anyone needs a castle break - or you're just hungry - you should go to the Pie Hole. I'm really not exaggerating when I say that they have the best pie. [ Because it's so true ]

[So Ice Cream Tuesday was a big success. Meowth stuffed his face and everything was good and now he's curled up on a couch in the lobby with an empty bowl of ice cream in front of him that smells of berries and a good dose of catnip, and considering he's had several bowls of that concoction, it's no wonder he's a little flushed... Don't ask how a cat can be flushed. It's Pokemon. Deal with it.

Life's pretty awesome for him. He's got half the castle against the twerp. He's well-fed. He's got a good place to stay with Kitty. No worries or cares in the world. So why shouldn't he just nap on a couch in an open place where anyone who might have a bone to pick with him or... Want to give him scritches and surprise cuddles as people are want to do with cats, which would be equally irritating, because dude, he's stoned off catnip and sleeping, why you do this.

Yep. No sense letting sleeping cats lie, Paradisa.]

As if things couldn't get odder in the castle, a vendor is parked in the lobby offering ice creams which are named after castle residents. I don't know whether to be rather amused or mildly disturbed by this. I checked and, yes, even though I've moved away from the castle and am currently residing in town, there is still an ice cream flavour available in my name.

Unless I'm mistaken, Joshua Kiryu's finally left. [an ink spot where he presses his pen to the page.] I suppose there's always the chance he could be pulling something, but he's not really the type to make himself less noticeable.

[Now that she's done sending him off, she'll be heading downstairs. She heard there was ice cream. Not even Rhyme can resist ice cream. So here she is, at the truck, ordering ice cream. Rhyme flavor, of course. It's her favorite, she assumes--strawberries and cream.

But when she gets it....it's peaches and cream with sprinkles mixed in.]

you guys, it was the weirdest thing!
i don't know if anyone else saw it, but yesterday there was this weird guy in an ice cream truck just giving out free stuff.
and i guess i ended up having me flavored ice cream?
which i am not even sure what that means, it sounds kind of gross when put that way, but it was actually really good!
anyways, he was gone by this morning, so i wanted to know, does anyone here know anything about making ice cream?
also do you think crushing up ring pops and sticking them in will actually work?
because i don't know a lot about ice cream making, but that just kind of seems like it wouldn't blend well.
