[Inbetween daily sword practice and checking the journals, as well as still getting a feel for her surroundings, Anna is cleaning her room today. One can probably find her going in and out of her room with a broom, among other things, tidying up her living space, trying to get it to her standards. It was still somewhat weird to be so far from Al-Revis, but schedules were schedules, and Anna was going to at least attempt to adhere to the ones she made for herself.]

...I believe this is good enough for today.

My thoughts and prayers go to anyone who has gone missing or left to investigate the possible source of all this. I have heard these trips are typically very dangerous. I can only imagine what it must be like being stranded in out in the wilderness.

Please take care of yourselves.

[after not spending much time outside the Leverage tower the past week or two, Hardison went to the game room this morning. He had been there before, but upon walking in he forgot which games he had played. And...looking through he didn't have any high scores on anything. And he didn't know the right combos or anything...]

[now he's walking down the hall and starting to think....and he can't remember much about any of his games. He knows he loves them, he knows he's missed team meetings because of them, but what are they?]

[His walking ends with him in the lobby once more, where he sits down and...yeah, he's pouting. he flips his journal open]

I, uh....think I figured out my loss.

[and he's heartbroken]

{ooc: Feel free to bug in person or over the journal.}

[Feeling a bit bored because of the lack of vigilante work, finding another job would suit him just fine. Besides, from what he read in the journals, Ragna the Bloodedge always seemed very keen to move to the city.

Wandering around the city looking for a job is (1) boy and (1) purple automaton. They're just peeking into any stores or business.]

I hope the people here won't mind hiring a robot too, right Sis? Maybe you can just watch. They probably wouldn't mind you observing, after all.

[Felix knew immediately something was wrong. Because this nice, wonderfully soft bed underneath him was not the hard, lumpy bedroll he'd fallen asleep on. When he opens his eyes, the sunlight hitting him in the face was coming through a window. Finally, his brother, who somehow became all elbows while he slept, was not beside him. He bolts upwards, and the journal records a light, breathless sort of voice call out in alarm.]

Mildmay? Mildmay!

[It's faint, but the journal records the sound of somebody inelegantly extricating themselves from the bed, where apparently the journal had taken the place of his brother. Thankfully no one was around to see that display. He stares at the journal, listening, watching the text flow across the page. He starts to pace, trying to will himself into figuring out this problem and most certainly not panicking. It's possible he's dreaming again. This wasn't exactly the nightmare his mind would have chosen - this room that almost could have been his room in the Mirador. Except that it wasn't. Nor did it feel like any of his other true dreams. But if it was, he had to concentrate on the symbols that presented themselves. And this book was the most obvious. He approaches it again, cautiously, as if expecting it to spring to life at any moment. Sure enough, he sees his own words there. None of this made sense, but he wasn't about to let this dream control him.]

Where am I?

[It's hard to tell if it's a demand or an inquiry, the way he says it.]

Hey everyone, I found Jonsey's favourite song in the whole world. If you want to make her happy, you should totally sing it to her whenever you can.

She really likes the chorus. Because she loves being called by that name.

[And then the little troll will play the chorus to this song. On loop. LOUDLY]

I have a question for anyone who has come across a "double" of themselves at some point. This can also go for anyone who knows of "doubles" that once lived in the castle but are now gone. My question is, aside from physical similarities have you noticed anything linking you or the person you know to this "double"? Any skills or history you have in common? Please be as specific as you feel comfortable.

[Waking up to the sound of a chirping cricket is not exactly the norm, when one is used to living in an apartment. Plus she's about 6 floors up, so wtf bug. Bemused, she pokes around, shifting stuff on the floor and hoping to flush it out, but to no avail. Not that she's actually putting any effort into this, it's way too ear - oooor not. Sleeping in till noon (or past noon) is a habit of hers, and geez. That cricket must have been chirping for a while now; too bad she sleeps like a rock. Yawning, she leaves the room, shutting the door firmly and heading towards the kitchen.

A while later, she's back with a sandwich and a mug of coffee and why is that cricket still alive? Looking about, she tries to pinpoint the noise but it seems to stop chirping just as she gets close. So...fuck it. She slaps on a pair of oversized headphones, turns up the volume, and starts playing Last Fiction 254.

It'll probably eventually die anyway.]

[It appears that our adventurous group has made quite some progress as they make their way deeper and deeper into the Dead Zone. It's a good thing that Kat is a no-nonsense lady and is planning ahead for our group to continue to make good time! Maybe our destination will be within our reach sooner rather than later!

Do your feet hurt yet? Are you sick of walking? Are we there yet? These questions may not do anything to satiate your curiosities of what is to come, but since we've already made some good headway here, it's on to the second night of setting up camp.

Have you gotten acquainted with your fellow travelers yet? Think this trip will be a success? You know, this is a first-timer for a lot of people...

Let's check in on the group, shall we?]

[Tavros is just rolling down the hall in his chair, having used the handy-dandy elevator to get from floor to floor. He's just kind of exploring right now though, and so he goes into a door that doesn't appear to be someone's room. And it doesn't seem to be a cocoon of any sort ... just a weird room with lots and lots of benches. He rolls further down the aisle, looking around ... it does look pretty, whatever it is. What? They don't have churches on Alternia. At least nothing like this.]

[Adell is sitting outside the room he had arrived in and is staring at the journal in his hands. He takes out a pencil out of the pouch on his belt and starts drawing four people, with really strange apparences. There's a woman with three red eyes, a man with a large pimple that has a face, a girl with pink hair and small blue wings, and a boy with cow-like horns.]

If anyone sees these people, could you tell me? Their names are Mom, Dad, Hanako and Taro.

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
