Man, this is a lot of pink! So Valentine's Day is comin' up, hun? Guess it's another way for the castle to mess with us....anythin' I should avoid so I don't break my brain?

[If anyone is looking for Adell, he's way way out from the castle and the town. He needs more practice with his strongest attack and he doesn't want anyone caught in the blast range.

Which means you should come bug him.]

[ooc: Open. If you want an idea of what Big Bang looks like, check out this video. Big Bang is at 2:55, and yes, the explosion is that large. He won't catch you in the blast, so don't worry about your character getting hurt.]

[Adell might have not been Eris-influenced, but he still wakes up with a massive headache from both the music and getting hit with beer bottles and chairs at the rave.]

Urg....feels like a Rift Demon decided to use my skull for a drumset....I don't think even the demons from back home party as hard as that was.

[Room is spinning. The Demon Hunter groans and wishes up an ice pack and some asprin.]

If anyone wants me, I'll be in my room. This'll be the only time I'll ever stay down from something....

[Adell eventually wakes up in the clinic with a massive headache and a sore body. And that's it.

He remembers the fight with Isis. He remembers getting slammed into a wall. And then nothing but rage.]

[The Demon Hunter groans and lies back down on the bed. Someone make him take headache medicine or something.]

[With that filter done, Adell has gone to the kitchen to get a drink. A few minutes later, there's a couple of cans of beer around the table but Adell is showing no sighs of actually being drunk.]

[There's a little kid wandering around the Castle. He's been calling for his Mom and Dad for the past hour or so and he looks like he's about to cry.

Some of you might reconize his clothing.]

[Adell has just woken up from his, rather weird, dream of a Christmas party. He's in his room (with a stomach ache from the candy), much to his surprise.]

How did I....? Did the castle bring me back here?

[The Demon Hunter gets up slowly but still manages to knock something over that had been resting on his bed-side table. Frowning, Adell picks up the small present, which was wrapped the same way all the ones in his dream had been. The card on it simply says "To Adell" so he opens it and tips the objects out into his open hand.

They were a pair of golden weding rings and ingraved on the inside of each of them were two names that made Adell stare in shock.]

Serion....and Shura....?

[The journal only picked up silence after Adell spoke, besides a choking sound. When he speaks next, it's so quiet that the journal can barely pick it up.]

just this once...Marry Christmas, Mom and Dad.

[There's a house that you can wander into, in Adell's dream, and inside is a Christmas party ready to happen. It's a strange-looking though.

There's a tree (neon pink, for some reason) decorated with strange decorations, most of them in the shape of four-leaf clovers. The star on top is painted black but still shines brightly, somehow. The presents underneath the tree are wrapped neatly but none of the colors match and the ribbons are not curled but in a sort of ziz-zag pattern.

There's a table next to the tree with a few bowls of candy filled to the brim and there's a small child, Adell himself, munching on some candy.

"Not too much now, or you'll get sick." A female voice, soft and kind, spoke and Adell smiles.

"I won't eat too much mommy!" His mother picks him up and holds him close. For some reason, her face is blurred out.

"Where's daddy?"

"He's just gone to get some firewood. He'll be back soon."

"Yay!"

This looks like a perfect family Christmas, but there's something else in this scene. A person, completely covered by darkness, is standing in the corrner and is currently going unnoticed by everyone. They're holding a sign with a large, white, question mark. Who are they? Nobody knows.]

[Adell is sitting outside, starting at the snow. Since the only place in Veldime that snowed was the Snow Clan Village, he hasn't seen snow before.

He's been looking at the journal long enough to pick up the idea of Christmas and he thinks it's a pretty neat idea.]

A time where families get together to celebrate....hun. Well, then, Marry Chirstmas Mom, Dad, Taro and Hanako.

.....and.....

[A pause. Adell's voice is bitter when he speaks next.]

There's no point in saying that to them.

[Adell is looking through his closet for his clothes but keeps on finding some strange clothes instead, like the outfit he woke up in.]

What the heck is all this stuff? None of it is mine....

[Silence...]

Was this something I was warned about when I went to the clinic? 'A nasty surprise'?

[Adell is sitting in his room surrounded by offical-looking peices of paper and he's reading them with a frustrated look on his face. The journal picks up his voice as he reads the titles on them.]

Blackjack Dealer.....Monkey Boy......Chew Toy.....

......

Chicken Chaser? Who'd want a title like that?

[He sighs and continues to look through the papers.]

Hero is a pretty big title in the series.....it wouldn't be easy to get.

[There's a moment of silence]

But I made a promise and I won't break it.

[Adell has just wandered into the kitchen after passing some strange animals that kept going 'Gobble!' and kept trying to attack him. He's hungry but not in the mood for meat though.

He opens the fridge's door, wondering if it has something new in it, and finds it stuffed full of small boxes. He takes one out and reads it outloud.]

Pizza Pockets?

[He flips the box over in his hands and finds the instructions to cook them. However, it says microwave. Adell does not know how to use a microwave.

Adell finds said microwave eventually and spots a small sign that says "If you don't know how to use the microwave, DON'T USE IT!"]

Humm...Ah!

[He takes a Pizza Pocket out of the box and closes his hands around it. After a few seconds, a brief flame consumes his hands before going out. Adell takes a bite out of the slightly overdone Pizza Pocket.]

Not bad.

[After getting a nice hot shower, Adell is going down the Pietas Tower to the second floor so he can find the clinic and get a first aid kit. He's just walking along right now and stops at the clinic door once he gets there. Adell pokes his head inside and calls out.]

Hello? Is anyone in here?

[Adell is sitting outside the room he had arrived in and is staring at the journal in his hands. He takes out a pencil out of the pouch on his belt and starts drawing four people, with really strange apparences. There's a woman with three red eyes, a man with a large pimple that has a face, a girl with pink hair and small blue wings, and a boy with cow-like horns.]

If anyone sees these people, could you tell me? Their names are Mom, Dad, Hanako and Taro.

[Adell raised his arms to shield himself from the bright expoision that came from the Summoning Pot, but the blast knocks him backwards and he falls and lands on...]

A bed? What the heck?

[The red-head gets off the bed and looks around quickly. He somehow ended up in a room, like a hotel room. The surroundings don't really click with Adell since he's more worried about how he ended up in a strange room when the Summon was supposed to bring Overlord Zenon to him and what happened to his family. A thought dawns on him.]

This could be Zenon's castle...wait, Taro and Hanako could be in danger! I have to find them!

[Adell throws open the door and rushes outside. He takes a left at the nearest turn, but really, he's just running randomly. Finding his family is more important than taking in the decor of...wherever he was.]

[OOC: spot the red-head idiot with weird clothes running in the halls or try to grab his attention through the journals.]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
