[The margins are filled with random doodles.   The images can be best described as a bit bizarre.   On one side she's drawn a man who has no face.  Below that is another man with what looks like a pyramid shaped helmet obscuring his head.

On the other side she's drawn a woman wearing a red dress, and below this woman is the head of a horned goat.  

Below that the drawings change in both subject matter and style.  It's almost as if two different people had sketched in the book.  Images of flowers, and butterflies are drawn.   Also drawn is a picture of a man, with the word 'Daddy' written below it.]


You would think that by now I'd be used to not seeing my father,  but I still miss him.  It's been about six months since I was last with him.

I wish time felt like it was moving slower. I'm not even sure why I want that, but I know that it's been a month and I still feel sort of lost here. I think I should get out more, try to meet more people, but I never was that way before. I stayed in Hartsdale the whole time growing up and friends weren't exactly on the schedule. I wasn't supposed to have that sort of free time, and here all I have is time.

But it goes too fast.

After examining a majority of the entries in this journal belonging to other individuals, I have come to the conclusion that I am in a world that is both not my own and unaware of my own. I will not question the nature of my arrival or ask for a way back, as it is apparent that I will more than likely not get a definite answer. It is most unfortunate that I am here and not where I should be. For you see, the supreme governing body in my world is about to hit a point where it will become the very thing it claims to be standing against in a war that has been raging on for three years now. Rightfully, I should be there to help hold the remnants of that once great foundation together and cannot do so from a place where contact with both Naboo, Coruscant, the Senate, and the Jedi Council is near to impossible. I can only imagine the chaos that will follow my disappearance. All I can do is hope my doubles do their job in keeping appearances and Representative Binks upholds the ideals I have instilled in him on the Senate floor.

And, since it seems I will be here a while, I am Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo. Forgive me for not saying that it is a pleasure to be here and meet you all, as the circumstances speak for themselves. I am sure, however, that in time I will grow to be more comfortable with my new surroundings.
