...where is this place? I'm pretty sure it's not Midgar, or any other place I've been to...and I know for a fact that this isn't the church or bar. [there's a long pause, followed by the sound of the heel of a boot tapping against the floor] Maybe this is just some kind of dream.

For the past fortnight, the neon god has failed to walk past my handcrafted hiding place on his way down the stairs in the morning... I do not know where he has gone to, oh no nonny. I was going to ask the gentleman with pink hair about him, but the pale, scary fellow was looking at me, it was very unpleasant, yes nonny. Just a... a bit of sunlight would do... absolute wonders for his complexion...

Well, now that I've had some time to settle in and explore, this place doesn't seem so bad. It's kinda nice, really... Everyone's real helpful and all that. Not like Pylea at all. If I had to get pulled into another dimension, then I could definitely think of worse. Especially if everything's free! Does that mean I can just go to to stores and get clothes for free? [mutters] I still don't understand how this place makes revenue.

What really boggles the mind, though, is that there are people from all sorta of dimensions here? That just isn't right. This place might seem fine and dandy, but does anyone really choose to be here? Is anyone here actually a native? I'm really curious about that... And these books are really handy. The way the writing just appears on them from people's entries like that, it's kinda like Wesley's books! I wonder if I can conjure up stories through it. Wesley...

It seems people are very inquisitive today. I can't help but be a bit curious about others myself, having arrived. It's a bit overwhelming, having all this just thrust upon oneself, I think. Despite that, I'm happy to know there are others here from home I'm able to trust. It makes staying here a bit better. I pray I'll get used to it quickly, since I may be here for a while.

All that aside, I hope I'll be able to make some good friends here.
