[Ty Lee is out on the grounds, looking completely covered in a pink mess of jackets, and scarfs in an attempt to keep herself warm. She's look around in amazement as she waddles through the snow. SHE'S NEVER SEEN SO MUCH OF IT BEFORE ♥ ]

Ooh!! It's so pretty...

[She sits herself down on the ground with more grace then you would expect of someone bundled up so tightly, and proceeds to make herself a little snowman, complete with a button nose and hearts for eyes.]

hostages thread // THE DATING GAME

[The hostages have all be bound at the wrists, ankles, and waist by chains, forced upright on poles securely cemented into the ground at their feet. When they awaken, they're all in similar situations - the room is dimly lit by a single light bulb hanging from the ceiling. Their partner is about two feet in front of them; they're positioned to face one another so they can clearly see their own precarious situation mirrored in their fellow hostages. Your gut reaction may be to start wiggling and seeing if you can get your way out of your bonds - but I wouldn't do that if I were you! You might notice the person opposite you is wearing a strange... belt, the buckle of which is a metal square with a panel on it in the shape of the Joker's face. And in place of eye sockets is a count down.

Countdown towards what?

Well, until you explode, of course!

These bombs are triggered by extremely sensitive sensors. Any effort to remove them will result in an explosion; if the bomb passes the threshold without managing to go off, it'll explode then, as well. Well, kids, it looks like you might be there a while.

Look up into the cameras positioned at each corner of the ceiling, babies, and SMILE!

Maya and Ty Lee are in the basement of a coffee shop on Main Street.
Sweets and Cagalli are in a dressing room at the theater in the Art District.
Ash and Joan are in a warehouse storeroom in the Industrial District.
Rock and Gwen are in an empty office in the Business District.]

These should be open to JUST the hostages for the first little while, but go ahead and threadjack once your characters get close to where they're located, and PLEASE PING ME @ haybutler on aim or comment to the last ooc post regarding the plot, I'll get the notif. :) Also please add your character's tags as you tag in, I'm multi-tasking like a mofo sob lmao]

[late last night, a certain Harley Quinn may have sneaked into the bedrooms of Maya, Ty Lee, Rock, Joan, Sweets, Cagalli, Ash, and Gwen - a good ol' combo of sedatives and a good bonk on the head or two assured they wouldn't be awake as she dragged them out of the Castle.

[After finding herself bored of her room, Ty Lee has wandered down to the grounds, and has been entertaining herself by cartwheeling on the soft grass. Her journal has been left open on the ground next to her. She bends over backwards, and flops onto the grass, picking up her pencil off the page. She doodles a few hearts and flowers in the corner of the page.]

Paradisa is soo beautiful. I don't think the Fire Nation or the Earth Kingdom ever had trees this pretty. There's so many colors.

[Ty Lee drops her pencil back onto the page, and flips up onto her hands. Continuing her acrobatic tricks. Her journal occasionally picking up the soft sounds as Ty Lee's feet hit the ground]

I know a lot's been said about the weather lately, but I've got to say that I love it! ♥ I'm liking the weather changes recently. Plus, when the rain's gone, flowers will grow! And flowers are one of my favourite things about spring. That, and the sky's blue and it's that perfect temperature where it's not too hot or too cold. ♥ I can't wait for that!

Oooh, I've got the cutest pink rainboots. ♥ Oh, and an umbrella! It's perfect for going out and talking your dog for a walk. Oliver likes the rain, too, except I don't like how he smells after we get back inside.

I wonder how you can solve that problem, because it makes me nauseous sometimes. And I don't think spraying your dog with perfume is good for it!

Anyway, enjoy it while it lasts! Because constantly sunny weather will be here eventually and you'll miss the rain!

Aww, I caught a Clefairy! She's so adorable, and now Pokey has a new friend and he won't be so lonely. ♥ I think might start catching only the pink Pokemon!

This is really, really, really late, but I want to thank everyone who gave me gifts for Christmas. ♥ I loved every single one! Even the gross "beer" stuff.

But what I really wanna know is who left this big ball... of pink things! It's beautiful, and huge, but who sent me this? I want to thank you! ♥ Jaime got one, too, but it's blue.

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
