[ If Stefan isn't at The Pie Hole (where he's baking) he can be caught on his way to and from there, in the library of the castle, in the hallways, stairwells. He even sometimes pensively stands on the roof, just because. Or, sometimes, his door is open. It reminds him of the second time he went to college. He could also be around the kitchen or Death Match. He will not be in the Lux. Other than that, have at it! ]

If she has some support, then good. That's all I wanted to know. People often forget that it's not just the victims who are traumatised on such losses.

She does. [ It's hard to really be civil with him and now that Wes is at the stacks and Stefan is walking towards him... ] You were worried? [ He tilts his head ]

[He turns to face Stefan, his brow furrowing.]

Of course I was. I knew she was no more responsible for her actions than Rose was for her feral loss when I first met Damon.

I've been in that situation before myself. I know how it can weigh heavily on a person, no matter how many times people try to tell you it isn't your fault.

Rose's loss, from what I've heard, was that, a loss. The fact that you give Bonnie a pass and condemn Rose. The castle puts people on losses. They don't choose to lose themselves.

A lot can weight heavily on a person.

[ What is personal space? Stefan's in Wes' face, now. ]

What are you talking about? I am not condemning Rose at all. In fact, I testified in her defense when she was brought to trial. Read the transcripts if you don't believe me.

[Wes holds his ground, rather annoyed that Stefan has made the wrong assumption about him and continues to do so.]

I absolutely believed Rose was on a loss and spoke to her afterwards to reassure her that I bore her no ill will for what she did to me. As I have also done with Bonnie.

[He's not exactly too thrilled about Stefan invading his space and he's glaring at him quite intently. So intently, in fact, that he doesn't see the golden twinkly lights until they're literally hovering over them both.]

I believe you. The way you talk about her -- it sounded as if you blamed her more.

I got that. It didn't sound like that when you -- We've gone over this. Thank you for not going after Bonnie.

[ There. He said it, okay? Because, that was what he'd originally wanted to do, anyway. Behind Wes, Stefan spotted something - something cold and -- was it twinkling on the shelf above their heads? ]

[Stefan's thanks surprises Wes and there's a beat of silence before he replies.]

She'd been through enough.

[Then he follows Stefan's gaze and realises what peril they're in.]

Oh, bloody hell. Not again.

[He reaches out with his hands to attempt to shove Stefan forcibly backwards in a valiant but futile effort to avoid the glittering dust which is being liberally sprinkled at the both of them.]

[ Too late. Wes is closer now and Stefan both feels and sees the dust. Animosity still clear, it's not as if he wants to bring his lips to Wes'. It's that he has to. He feels compelled to. And so, he pulls Wes into a kiss, his back against the stacks. That's not comfortable. ]

[This is definitely something he doesn't want at all. But he's been made to kiss a man before by the castle, so it's not as shocking to him as it could have been. Hopefully it won't take long for the enchantment to dissipate. In the meantime, Wes finds himself pressing against the vampire, kissing him with an aggressiveness which comes from months of built up anger and resentment. Stefan had compelled him and gotten away with it. That still rankled.]
