[it felt strange not having Yuan present for the meeting, and the Doctor felt a bit like an imposter as he set up the rows of chairs in the basement for the Patrol members. the elder elf would certainly have had something to say about all of this, but his name was still on his door - which stood to reason that he was still around the castle, but indisposed on some sort of loss... at the moment, however, there were more pressing matters at hand. with a sigh, Five put his worries about his friend's whereabouts to the back of his mind and prepared for the tasks to come.]

[Durge is waiting sort of awkwardly near the edge of the room and trying to keep an eye out for whoever it is that's in charge. He's actually left his room without his sword and armor for almost the first time since he'd arrived. It felt a little odd to be without them, but he shouldn't need to defend himself in such a place. And if he did, there was always the dagger in his boot.]

[James is just, sitting in one of the chairs after getting himself a cup of tea, crutches nearby. Oddly for him he's looking very disheveled, his clothes wrinkled and he's minus his usual cravat and vest. But he's at least looking around and sipping his tea curios about who will show.]

[Lloyd is here wearing his usual red and buttons getup, swords on his hips. Currently he's armed with a cup of HOT COFFEE, but he's a bit distracted as he tries to find someplace to sit down. His hair is a bit... well, he might've just rolled out of bed.

Ah, good afternoon! Thank you all for coming ... I'm sorry that Yuan couldn't be here - he seems to be on some sort of loss or other. However, for those of you who don't know me, I'm the Doctor - or Lakare, if you'd rather - and I'll be attempting to herd the discussion in a somewhat orderly direction. If you don't mind, I'd like to start with a bit of a headcount - if you could stand and introduce yourselves to us all, and give us a brief statement as to what you presently do for us? Or, rather, if you're a new face, what you'd like to be able to do?

As for myself, in the way of duties, I suppose I do a bit of everything, but chiefly I concern myself with the explorations and with a bit of security.

Hullo. I'm the Doctor. And, no, that's not an echo. [He grins] I've also been known to go by Zivilyn if that makes things a bit easier.

Primarily I head the Code Blair project. For any of you who don't know, it's a project to help keep track of the children in the castle and keep them safe in the event of an emergency. I'm currently working on reconfiguring the system a bit. I'm afraid I was a little indisposed in the weeks before the expedition so I didn't get a chance to do so beforehand. In addition I help out wherever necessary.

Hello. My name is Hermione Granger. I don't know if I've ever been in this organization before, but I would like to start now. I'm a witch so I could use my magic to protect residents or fight against any threats.

Alan stands up to introduce himself, looking over those who've gathered for the meeting. "I'm Alan Bradley," he begins with a slight nod, rubbing the first few fingers of his left hand together. "I'm a member of Code Blair and started to change the system a little during the expedition, with the threat of fire, many residents gone, and the castle's new floor plan. I'm prepared to help however I can."

And with that, he waits a beat before settling back into his chair.

Mark looks decidedly uncomfortable at the thought of a roll call, but once a few people have spoken up, and he sees how little they actually have to say, he screws his courage to the sticking place and clears his throat when he hears his chance. He starts to stand up, then thinks better of it and lowers himself back into his seat. If people can't see him, he figures, his voice will be a good enough means of identification.

"I'm Mark ... I guess you could say I do intel? I keep an eye on the journals, so everyone knows what's goin' on. So ... um. Hi."

Patrol Divisions & Emergency Plans

I know there'd been some sort of effort to begin sub-divisions of the Patrol, but as far as I've heard, there's only really been one division formed for Supernatural matters. I think it might be a solid idea to implement a group chiefly in charge of designing scenarios in case of emergency ... evacuations, relocation, defense, and so on and so forth. I know that Agent Carolina has shown some initiative in this pursuit ... but this is an open forum, and I'd welcome any ideas you all may have.

We already have one volunteer for the third floor captain: Superman. We could enlist the help of civillians as floor captains to headcount every week and see who is and isn't still here. York and I can serve as backup if a floor captain doesn't report in.

Current evacuation points could be the TARDII on the top and bottom floors, with backups at Caritas and the Danger Room.

Remaining Prisoners

There had been talk of a trial system for those we're still holding here ... I'm personally fully in favor of continuing the plan, but has anyone any other ideas? I'll state for the record that any form of death penalty will not be permitted, impermanence of death here in Paradisa notwithstanding.

We need to do something. No wonder they're all getting antsy. They've been stuck down there without knowing what their fate is for months. Yes, they need to be punished, but keeping them down there indefinitely won't do anyone any good.

Discussion of the Breakout/Sabotage/Expedition

I've managed to piece together the basic meat of what's happened here over the last week - both abroad and within the Live Zone - but if we could shore up an official record to refer to, among all of us, that would be extremely beneficial. If any of you feel up to recounting what your experiences were, and more importantly, your opinions as to what happened ... I'd appreciate it very much.

Well, uh ... [Ray fidgets for a bit, then gets to his feet, raising a hand] I've got somethin'. I ... made a modification to my PKE meter that'll detect the castle's energy signature if it's affecting a place, or a thing ... or, well, a person. I gave it a preliminary test before we left for the expedition ... was able t' use it to figure out where a friend of mine on a loss had got to.

I dunno if that's the sorta thing anyone else here'd be interested in, but ... it's a piece of tech we've got available if we need it.
