[And once again, it is noon on meeting day in Patrol headquarters. There's a big open meeting room space, tables in the middle, a projector on the ceiling, computers in the walls. It is shiny, high-tech, clean, and full of a lot more people than last time. Yuan is already here before anyone else arrives, getting papers laid out and shuffled around. He seems tense, but satisfied. Things are finally coming together.]

That's a relief. Last time I knew someone who could phase out, they were a ghost and an enemy of my forest.

If you're certain you can handle it, miss, we could do a test run, then see about integrating you into the class. You could get exercise in as well. Would I be a suitable opponent for it? It'd help me see what level you're at.

[Especially since, yeah, that bandage of hers is still big and obvious. Even she's not invincible, and she is trying to accept help more.]

Most of the training that I've done at home has been around learning to use and expand my ability. I think that you would be a little stronger, maybe too strong, as an opponent but without challenges you can't expand and improve.

[ Even with that bandage, Kitty still thinks she'd be strong. Especially since she's teaching people, that means that she's good ]

You really do know your stuff. I can tone it down well for you; I'm used to toning it down for younger people, regardless of their power, they still lack experience. It's not a bad thing.

Younger people are usually still training rather than fighting, which is a good thing. [ Kids, even people her ages shouldn't have to fight. Sometimes the just have to, sigh ]

I can come to your next class, or even before then if that's better.

Come before. I'm planning for an open class around the middle of the month, and we can integrate you then. I'd like to gauge you first on my own and then plan around it, in case anyone has any objections to still using you as a target.
