[And once again, it is noon on meeting day in Patrol headquarters. There's a big open meeting room space, tables in the middle, a projector on the ceiling, computers in the walls. It is shiny, high-tech, clean, and full of a lot more people than last time. Yuan is already here before anyone else arrives, getting papers laid out and shuffled around. He seems tense, but satisfied. Things are finally coming together.]

((ooc: Please wait to tag until sections are up, thanks! Actually, go ahead and tag away in each section as it goes up. Threadjack lots! We're all in the same room, so jump in wherever you want.))

[his arms are crossed and he's looking extremely furious at the Doctor. Allen is all for compassion...but he has limits. Limits that Riful long since passed after torturing Teresa and Crowley, after eating all those townspeople and after realizing that she is the most likely suspect to have caused Robin's disappearance. He mutters.]

Honestly at this point I don't see what's wrong with cutting off her head in the Dead Zone.

[ heard that bro, and giving allen a surprised look. not often they agree on that particular matter. he'll address yuan though ]

Jeez, can't the Farmboy just kick her into the Dead Zone? I bet he could do it.

[ i mean, MAYBE she would die upon landing but...who cares. ahem ]

Being able to doesn't mean I should, and because of the risks posed to her, I mostly definitely shouldn't.

[He shakes his head.]

I'd vote containing her in the Dead Zone. If we can set up an outpost there, we can set up a prison.

[identity profile] variare.livejournal.com 2011-06-04 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
[ no yuan. PLAN A FOREVER. you both are clearly buzz kills, even if he was 40% joking. watching clark kick riful into space would just make us damn day ] ]

I'd say you're still a good option if we're going to pick someone who can go toe-to-tentacle with her. Maybe you could knock her out.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-06-04 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
[this one meanwhile gives a look at Clark but bites his tongue on what he really wants to say. YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE RISKS TO THAT MONSTER BITCH REALLY? ]

Knocking her out would work, or luring her into the Dead Zone. Her living so close to it could be beneficial.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2011-06-04 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
[Five shoots Clark a grateful look. THANK YOU for being someone else who isn't all about the bloodshed.]

Also, if we need something to keep Legato out of harm's way while we contain her ... the TARDIS and I could handle him.

What about all her other friends? I know she's got Arthas on her side, and who knows who else.

[He catches Allen's eyes momentarily but ignores the look. His eyes rove around the room, trying to gather what everyone else is thinking of this discussion, and his eyes linger on his wife-to-be (who seldom gets to see him involved in these things) and land on the Doctor. The Doctor's right, too -- Clark nods at that.]

I'd take Riful. Legato and I are a bad match for obviously reasons if he took control of me. I doubt I'd be too useful with Arthas, either, recalling what happened last time I dealt with possessed swords.

[ stretches his arms behind his head ]

Well so far we know about Arthas and Legato, but Ino's right, she could have more. Unfortunately we don't really have the option of working recon to learn what other allies she might have without taking serious risk. One of them'd be able to sense us a mile off.

I'd probably be better suited helping subdue Legato, since I'm pretty sure he can't take control of me, but I'll go where I'm needed.

And I'm sure Sylvanas will be able to assist us with Arthas, as well ... we've plenty of hands and minds willing to the task. I don't think we need to worry about that.

[identity profile] loisfuckinglane.livejournal.com 2011-06-04 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lois just listens to all this at first, her mind wrapped up in her own encounters with "Robyn" and the possibility that it really is Riful] If we build a jail in the Dead Zone, someone's going to have to be monitoring it. I don't trust locking up our most dangerous out there, where outsiders could stumble upon them, and as much as I'm not Riful's biggest fan, we don't want the First Gens thinking we're shoving her out there to become their problem. That's not going to improve relations with them.

I don't really want to mess with them either, but how can we contain her if she still has her powers? Some of us have already seen how ridiculously overpowered she is. Just throwing her in a cell in the basement isn't going to do anything.

As for recon ... it's possible, but too risky, at this point.

[identity profile] variare.livejournal.com 2011-06-05 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Unless there's some way to continuously drain her energy source, the Dead Zone seems like the best option. I dunno, maybe starving her weakens her. I don't know if it'd actually kill her.

But there's always an issue with other power houses trying to break her out. The same goes for Legato and Arthas when we get ahold of them. It's happened before, remember?

Honestly, we already have an outpost in the Dead Zone, and the First Gens haven't complained about that. If we can build some sort of prison system right next to it, near the border, we wouldn't be encroaching on their territory anymore than we already have.

It's easy for us to get out there with the teleporter, so making sure someone is always on guard isn't difficult. This is what we're about, isn't it? No offense but I'm not gonna pussy foot around just because the guys out there are intent on boxing us in.

Putting her out there wouldn't necessarily be a threat to them –– after all, she'd be powerless. Isn't she physically a little girl when she's powerless, anyway?

[he shakes his head]

Legato and Arthas would be powerless, too, and possibly without much experience fighting without those powers. They'd be handicapped.

[identity profile] loisfuckinglane.livejournal.com 2011-06-06 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lois nods] Just making sure we're not setting off a war we don't really want to fight. But I guess you're right - if she's fully depowered, they'll probably understand exactly what we're trying to do keeping her locked up.

So who's guarding this thing?

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2011-06-08 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
I think a more apt question is, what sort of people are we going to require to guard it ... and if we should have an extra wave of guards on the other side of the border, just in case.
