050; time travel
You know. I don't like time travel.
Or I think I don't like it. I haven't really experianced real time travel, but I was in my future once, and it wasn't fun. I expect time travel to be something like that.
And it's absurd thinking time is linear. Flowing only one way and all the moments that already happened totally obliterated. Absolutely absurd.

Being touched by one is instant death. No hope of survival. They turn you into a very brittle type of stone, and you just collapse under your own weight. Lost me juggler and me fiddler to them, too.

... Shop window dummies. Somehow, I'm not even remotely frightened. "Oh no, we must run slightly faster to escape the movements of a mannequin not designed for such, oh, the horror!"
Sort of like running from mummies. I never understood that. They're mummies. The only people in danger from mummies are really old people. Otherwise, all you have to do is walk faster.

Nevermind the fact that most mummies don't come back to life in the first place.

Agreed. Utter piffle is what it is. There's a few books on mummies going after people back home, fiction and all, but it's rediculous!
Then again, we did have zombies a month or so ago.

So I've heard. I missed it by only a few days. A bit disappointed about it, really.

No, no, be glad you weren't there. They chanted non-stop in some other language. [sound of many flipped pages] Something like 'et toy a matar'. Doesn't matter. They drove me half mad. Had nightmares, and I don't dream!

You don't dream?
[ooc: If only he knew it was mangled Spanish. xD]

Hey! [another set of gibberish] and [again]
...

That's odd, so have I.

Something's up.

Oh, definitely. I don't like this a bit.
Two people, yeah, coincidence, but three? That's just... no.

Though I was hearing something more like... [lots of gibberish! and some squigglies as well]

...
[frustrated sigh] This isn't working.

"Its [it's almost as if he's speaking another language. It's jumbled sounds and things that sound nothing like words]!
GAH!"
