[tossing his guitar on the bed, Lindsey grins as he finally got a song to sing figured out and a slot with Lorne at Caritas. He stops and grabs his journal to plan on letting a few people know]

I'm performing tonight at Caritas around sevenish. I know it's last minute, but I'd really love it if you'd show up.

If anyone's interested, I'm going to be playing at Caritas tonight 'round seven. Anyone who wants to come down is welcome. I'll even buy a round. I'm sure someone will have an open journal if ya can't make it. Hope to see you there.

[Lorne is listening to this and boy does this guy have a great voice. There's something which is concerning him greatly, though. Where he'd normally be getting visions of the singer's destiny he was getting...nothing.

[and sure enough, she'll be there, sitting at a table near the stage with attention full on him. She'd known he could sing, just from the little bit he'd done at the beach and the garden... but it was a whole different experience, seeing him on stage.]

[she'd run up to him immediately after, but she doesn't want to interrupt his conversation with Lorne, so she'll drink her Coke waiting for him to be free so she can really talk with him]

[he had been watching her since she walked in, making sure she knew that the song was for her. After his quick business talk with Lorne, he made his way through the crowd to her]

[Del is curled up in a chair at a table being oddly unobtrusive for such a rainbow-and-fishnet person. She's watching how everyone else reacts to his singing. Is that how she's supposed to respond?]

[Lindsey had met Del once, way back when he first arrived. She had confused him then, but he's not about to ignore her]

Yeah, not a problem, darlin'. It was last minute an' all. I'm gonna be a regular there now, Tuesday nights and on the weekends, so there'll be plenty chance for you.

[Ashura didn't particularly know the man who sent the invite, but music and a free drink? It was better than sitting in his room and reading and warding off the offended demands of his parrot. So he made for the Caritas in time to catch the performance and down at least one glass of wine, perhaps more, and was... surprised. He had never heard anything like what Lindsey played, but it was surprisingly good. Not that he had expected it to be bad.

So of course when the performance ended he rose and made his way to Lindsey, smiling and clapping his braceleted hands.]

That was a wonderful performance. I am so glad you sent out an invite over the journals!
