[ gil hasn't been in his room lately, trying to get out more. fresh air and all that jazz. anything to keep him distracted with recent events and the fact elliot really knocked him around verbally earlier.

he pauses outside his door, feeling something is very wrong. slowly, he turns the knob and pushes the door open quietly and immediately spots a figure in the dark of his room-- in his bed? so, he reaches for his gun and points it at whoever or whatever it is-- flicking the light open at once ]

[ sometime later. or before elliot. OH PARADISA TIME. ]

[no. he didn't. but he sounded so confident about it. just like he always sounded confident about everything.

he also had never mentioned the fact that he had also taken it upon himself to rummage through Gil's closet and dressers but it was evident in the fact that he was no longer wearing the shirt and jacket he had orginally been wearing but, instead, wore something that obviously belonged to the other.]

apologies were just absent words. the man had proved to be a failure over and over and no amount of "i'm sorry" could ever make up for that. or for the fact that Elliot KNEW that it would change absolutely nothing. Gil's priorities were simply elsewhere.]

[okay. that brief moment of having looked almost genuinely upset by the action had quickly been replaced with that look of rage. calming just a bit, he made sure to pick up the phone before brushing past him and stalking out the door.]
