[ long pause with more frantic footsteps before they halt. akira's standing in front of takumi's door. he never used that room, but the nameplate was still always there. now it's gone...and he's gone. and she's alone.
she drops to her knees outside the door, the open journal falling to the floor with her doing her best to stave off a panic attack and staring at the door ]
