[holding a picture in his hands. it's of him, Helga, and Thorfinn, though he definitely remembers there being a girl there during the past week, with Helga's hair, and his eyes. it makes him extremely regretful, to think that Paradisa has taken away this unknown daughter from him. he touches the space where Ylfa was in the picture]

Now, at least, I know what my loss is. And I have this picture, to always remind me.

And even more dire reminders. [soft groan] I have taken many a vile picture and recording out of the castle, but there may be more, still. I did not want to be reminded, and more than anything, I did not want them to know.

I'll simply have to see.
