[holding a picture in his hands. it's of him, Helga, and Thorfinn, though he definitely remembers there being a girl there during the past week, with Helga's hair, and his eyes. it makes him extremely regretful, to think that Paradisa has taken away this unknown daughter from him. he touches the space where Ylfa was in the picture]

Now, at least, I know what my loss is. And I have this picture, to always remind me.

And even more dire reminders. [soft groan] I have taken many a vile picture and recording out of the castle, but there may be more, still. I did not want to be reminded, and more than anything, I did not want them to know.

I'll simply have to see.

To put it succinctly, there are times when strange happenings occur in Paradisa. They range from the fairly mild, like waking up shackled to another person, to dangerous, such as being trapped on an island with dangerous, man-eating beasts, to cruel, like the debacle that took place this week.

Almost everyone in the castle suffered a complete memory loss, with the exception of their name, and the knowledge that they were in Paradisa. These lost memories were to be found all over the castle in various forms: pictures, articles, and moving pictures.

Not really. Fascinating in some aspects, but the trespass of privacy is hardly a lighthearted issue for some, nay, most of us.

Well, of course. Without them, we do not exactly lose ourselves, but we lose many important moments in our lives that help define us, and make us who we are.
