Thanks for the input, though. I didn't expect this many people to side with me, but it's not necessary.

I think it is. Just because you killed someone doesn't mean people have free reign to treat you like a horrible person.

Killing someone isn't exactly a harmless crime. They don't know me, all they know is that I killed someone, which is pretty horrible in itself.

That just means they should find out what happened before attacking you.

I'm not going to defend myself, because even under the circumstances, it was my actions that killed him.

I really appreciate the concern, though, don't get me wrong.
