Everything happened too fast... I was outside providing cover fire... [even now he's not sure how it got to that point...they fired first, but why did they have to return fire? -- it seems like such an odd situation]

Someone went off... moved into where they were hiding, there were three shots fired, but I don't know what happened.

I wasn't there for it... I should have been. I was outside when it happened.

I don't even know how it got to that point.

It was as if they wanted the fight in the first place.

We're heading back tonight. They can blame me, I know I was leading the group out there.
