Usually when you say you're a half-elf, that usually means that you're at least part elf.

It's what powers magic and magitechnology, at least in my world. It's also a necessity for life to exist. Only those with elven blood can sense or manipulate it, except under certain circumstances, and elves can sense it much more strongly than others.
