[There's a woman in a Power Suit sitting outside in the rain. Occasionally she'll remove her helmet to feel the rain on her face, even as it intensifies the longer she sits outside, but if she thinks she hears someone coming, she'll put it on very quickly. If you're quick enough, quiet enough, or just use the sound of the rain to your advantage, you can probably catch a glimpse of her without her helmet.
She has her journal lying near her, open, sheltered by a makeshift canopy of whatever she could find.]
So what do people do around this place? I don't necessarily mean to entertainment, just...in general. Is there some sort of mission? Are there people intending to accomplish something?
((OOC: Open to whoever's wandering by outside, or you can just respond to the voice entry.))

I see. So...it's a portable rain shelter?

[She doesn't sound too terribly interested, considering she's usually in a suit that protects against even acidic rain.]

I take it you are a fairly new arrival.

Been here for a few days.

As well as can be expected. I'm a little...restless.

It does take awhile to get accustomed to the random bouts of insanity.

I haven't encountered any yet. Except for the rain, it's just been...quiet. Journal entries are the most signs of life I've really encountered.

[points at the city] There is quite a bit to see in that direction, as well.

So I've been told. I think I'll wait until I'm sure I've explored everything here, though. It seems like whatever brought us here is localized in this place.
no subject
Localized ... perhaps. It seems to me it is everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time. A presence that cannot be detected by anyone from any world.

[and he nods. she's been well informed :D] You have been told about the death policy as well?
no subject
No, I haven't. Care to share?

[And disturbing. It certainly broadened the pool of people who could arrive and target her or anyone she knows, and made keeping her secret even more important than ever.]

[She lies like a lying liar that lies.]

[She's somewhat curious what his loss is, since she can't notice anything, but it'd be hypocritical of her to ask, so she doesn't.]
