After my rather abrupt entrance the other day and a few attempts at trying to return; it would appear that I am stuck here, so I suppose proper introductions are in order.

My name is Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, a surname I hope will be familiar to at least a few of you, pureblood wizard, from a long line of purebloods and no doubt wealthier than you could hope to be.

I did study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, initially with Albus Dumbledore as headmaster and then Professor Snape my old head of house.

[Soft frown and a quiet pause for a moment before changing tack]

Anyway I have been told I live next door to an angel and that there's a demon on the other side of him, I've not actually met either of them but am I the only one that finds this a little bit disconcerting?

I'm not going to have the fires of hell suddenly lick up my bedroom door whilst some celestial battle goes on, am I? Whose bright idea was it to put those particular forms of life together?

Oh Joy...and apparently a demon hunter further down the hall from them...

Yes this will go well.

[sighs huffily and walks with the journal in his hand]

And guess who else the castle has deemed fit for sticking me on the same hall as...

[Insert girlish shriek before a yell issues out]

Bloody hell Longbottom! Your toad in my sodding loo!

From what I've been told, the castle probably thought it would be amusing for you.

I've heard about people who can do magic living here, but not angels or demons, it's also possible someone's just yanking your chain.

Possible do you know many people on the fourteenth floor, I understand one is called Castiel, is that familiar?

Unfortunately, I can't say I do. Though I've only been up there in passing during a tour. It's not familiar, no. But if they're the type to pay attention to these journal's, they'll respond sooner or later.

Not that long either, like...four days ago? Though I have my b-friend here who's been around for seven months or so. I'm Alicia, by the way.

It's nice to meet you, Draco. [A slight uncomfortable pause] Caught that, did you? It was a slip up. I don't know if anyone told you, but people can come here from different time frames, which if someone is years ahead of you, changes how things are. [She assumes he's smart enough to figure it out]

Oh...so I could meet someone from my own future? Well I can see how that would certainly impact you...but then surely should you ever escape, it will affect your own timeline?

You could. Though I suppose that means you could meet someone from your past too. You know, you would think so, but...if people could escape or were kicked out by the castle, they could just come back for the rest of us. But I haven't heard of anyone who has, so it's likely you won't remember any of this.

That is worrying.

It is, and we can already tell the castle is doing it. Have you heard about the town yet?

No, what town?

It's within walking distance, you could probably see it from your window. What have you been doing these past few days?

Calling for houseelves that won't appear.

House elves? I'm afraid I don't know what they are.

Well only the very rich wizarding families own them, they're little creatures, that serve you.

Oh. Castle life shouldn't be too bad for you, then. If you can handle ghosts, anyway. They were surprising at first, but if you ask them for whatever it is you want to eat, or...whatever you'd ask a house elf for, they'll get it for you.

Oh well I suppose that's helpful, are they as...pleased to do work for you?

I'm not sure. They don't actually talk, but everything's done and done well, so I guess they must. Do you know where the kitchen is?

No, but I barely knew where the one at home was so that's not unusual

[A laugh] It's on the first floor, it's pretty big so you can't miss it, it's where they all seem to be. But we got a bit off track there. During the castle world changes, it seems the town's people don't come with. But they never remember where they go, or don't know anything about the castle. Since they're locals, it's obvious the castle did a mind sweep.

Well anything magical and this large is bound to show a bit of a restless temprement.

Have a lot of experience with that?

My school reacted the same way.

Your school was sentient? If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to hear a bit about that.
