Smellerbee would be the best target, I think, not only because it would be difficult for Jet, but also because it would make things even between us.

Her loss seems to be something about getting lost easily... I recall reading something about someone losing their sense of direction in a loss; perhaps it's in a similar vein? Not too difficult to exploit, as long as I can get her out of her house. I doubt there will be any other instance of her writing in the journal asking for help, so its best to move in. Killing her shouldn’t be difficult; she’s not a bender and her only experience is likely what she learned from Jet, who I know I can best with ease.

Even if I didn’t kill her... perhaps find her and “mark” her? I suppose Jet would be just as mad to see her damaged. Her left eye, perhaps. I think that would be easiest, and incredibly noticeable. It’d be a warning for what will come next, if he brings it up yet again.

The only real threat in the house would be Toph or the Avatar. I can best either, so it isn’t that much of a problem, but fighting two at once might be a hassle. As long as they’re in the house, getting to Smellerbee would be a bit of a hassle.

I could have someone else coax Smellerbee out. [page flipping] Most of the people she spoke with before are either gone, or don’t seem close enough to warrant luring her out. And besides: all it would take is one suspicious acquaintance to wonder why they were being prodded to meet with her, and they could warn her.

I could force her out.
