Haven't you heard of us? Funny, I thought we were the most prevalent of legends. In our world, we're referred to as 'Black Bloods'.

I guess. You probably don't have magic or demons or anything like that, where you're from do you? Or air ships?

You could call it magic. And most would consider Black Bloods a type of demon. But as far as I know, we are the only supernatural beings. It's amazing how diverse we are as a whole though.

As for air ships... I suppose your definition of one will be different from my own, but we have them. In a sense anyway.

We don't at all, some girl I spoke to before the carnival said she had them. In some world called Spira, I've never heard of it. We don't really have machines, where I'm from.

Most likely. Well, every bloodline has a trait unique to them. All the established bloodlines at any rate. One can turn into a wolf, another in to a dragon, but those are the more obvious ones.

'Spira'? Though I wonder if she meant air ships in a literal sense...

...That sounds kind of cool, if you ignore...the other stuff. We have dragons where I'm from, but they're not..people first. What does your's do?

I asked her if they were like flying boats, and she says they might look a little like them, but it wasn't really the same. She said it runs on a 'motor'.

Hmm... As for my own bloodline, that's not something I like to talk about.

What happened?

Well, I was at that carnival, and Wolfram and I got separated, that's the friend I told you about before, and anyway, I was looking for him and ran into this girl.

She said she'd help, and she was really nice except for the whole biting thing. Instead of finding Wolfram, she decided to bite me and drink my blood instead, except. It wasn't really a girl. It was a GUY.

And he was dead.

They're not actually around in my world. They're just in stories and movies and such.

Let me break this down for you.

• I was not a guy at the time. I was under a castle loss, and I thought it would make more sense to hip up on a guy than a girl given my current situation.

• I am not morally bound to ask first. Proverbially, it'd be kind of like a rabbit asking a hungry wolf not to eat it.

• I am not a human, but an undead being known as a "vampire" that has to drink the blood of humans to survive. While humans run on food and drink, I run on the basic life-force of others.

Got it, kid?

Yes, I think. Someone else only got around to explaining you were a vampire, but that you didn't actually exist, which...doesn't apply here. Are there are a lot of you, where you're from?

Weirder things have happened.

We Black Blood are everywhere on my world. From Russia to the Americas, really. We're just good at hiding, so most of the world doesn't believe in our existance anymore.

That'd be counter-productive.

I guess. Not much about this place makes a lot of sense.

I'm going to guess that they're countries, like Japan is.

...Not that I wanted you to kill me or anything, but then how did you stop people from telling?

North and South America are continents. Russia is a country that very much wishes it were it's own continent.
