044 - Righting Wrongs

[All is written very properly and professionally]

I'm more than certain that most of you know me. After all, I am the individual that...that threatened to murder children and tried to inspire church burnings. Dreadful, simply dreadful things of that nature.

I'll make this rather simple.

If I have wrong you in any way, shape or form, reply to this. Whether it was a passing insult, to attempted murder or worse, I would dearly request that you respond to this. I am going to make amends for all my horrible actions starting today.

If I were to give you my confession, we would be here for quite a while, and you would likely want nothing more than to have me erased from existence.

But I want to confess that I am not a man of the cloth. I have never been. I have lived an atheist from the day I was old enough to spell it out. I had lied to you to try to sabotage your Easter celebration.

I am...so dearly sorry for what I have tried to do to you.

I have heard those words before from someone else's mouth. All your sins must burden your soul and become chains for your conscience.

Why are you looking to make amends and regret your plans?

That is the best way to put it.

Because the person that I am...was...disgusts me. And that he would even think to try and deceive people of faith is sickening.

Why did you lie, Jan? If you know the source of your former lifestyle, of that sordid and unhealthy weakness in your spirit, you will be stronger to avoid falling unto temptation again.

I lied simply because I could. Because I wanted to. There are no excuses for what my intentions were. I simply wished to bring ruin to such a day.

The suffering of others were just mere entertainment? How terrible. ~~Absolutely a "loss."~~

That's what I am. Terrible.

I simply woke up one day last week, and all of what I've done was vividly displayed in front of me. It was then, in that moment, that I knew I had to change.

You must put that life of crime and vice well behind you. Do you keep any possession of your past?

Which is exactly what I plan to do. And...yes. Clothes, piercings, my guns, ammunition, grenades, some of the animals that I've killed, fake dead babies, my "Burning Churches for Dummies" book, and much more.

Why do you still keep them if you are a changed man?

My plan is to burn them to ash when I've made amends to everyone that I've wronged. As if to mark that the old me is dead and gone.

That is so noble of you to do. May I ask your room number and the floor you live? I will deliver an invitation to the Easter Congregation if you are truly interested to be in attendance. ~~I would also know which room we should avoid.~~

Room eight on floor six. And...you would still extend an invitation to me, even after knowing my true intentions? In that case, I would be more than happy to attend your congregation.

I have known many foul men who changed, Jan. If you sincerely believe in a new life, walk on that road without hesitation.
